M. Drake Brandt: I love every flavor. Yes, it's too expensive but I have tried every other so called keto, paleo, low carb low sugar cereal and this one blows them away. Totally. And I don't agree with the reviewer that dislikes the chocolate. To each her own--I love the chocolate and all of the other flavors. Agree with the reviewer that says get the value pack with all the flavors. I am addicted to this stuff but I ration it and wait until I am just really craving sweet cereal. It is wonderful and satisfies. I will keep buying it and eating it very, very slowly.

Amazon Customer: No real complaint, but I did find another brand that was less expensive and tasted about the same

Abby: I got the chocolate flavor. It tastes really good. There is a slight whey protein aftertaste, but it didn’t taste weird to me. Milk protein aftertaste was totally fine for a chocolate cereal. The protein content is really decent especially when you consider it as a percentage of total nutrients.
It’s a relatively low carb cereal at 15 grams per serving. I don’t really understand net carbs and how those are calculated. I will say that as a type 1 diabetic who can monitor the blood glucose impact of a variety of carbs in real time, it seems like a carb is a carb. As expected, my body processed this cereal as 15 grams of carbs not 4 grams of carbs. I appreciate that it’s 15 grams per serving vs the ~30 grams you would expect from other cereals, but it seems like net carbs (especially using allulose) are a just a gimmick. It is not a high fiber cereal.

André: I know the brand well and I generally like it. When I was buying this batch, I thought that I am buying a large batch, not just 8 cups, which cost around $20 on magic spoon website. Upset with myself here (I should pay attention), but definitely not planning to purchase anything from this seller ever again.

carol hierons: just didn'tlike the cereal

BlakeR: At first glance these look expensive. Everyone is talking about how small the portion of each box is too. But you can't think of it like a normal cereal that you stuff your face with that's just full of sugar and wheat. Instead, think of it like a protein bar... most decent protein bars are priced $2/bar. If you break down the serving size of these boxes, you'll find it's $2/serving. And because it's packed with protein, you'll get just as full, or more so, off a smaller portion of this than you would your standard bowl of sugar.
As for the taste, it's hit and miss. Texture-wise, these are fantastic... fluffy crunch, and not break-your-teeth crunch like some "protein" cereals. No graininess at all. It sticks to your teeth a little, but if you're familiar at all with milk proteins, you won't be surprised by this. It's not off-putting though.
My rankings: Fruity>Cocoa>Peanut butter>Frosted
Fruity: Tastes nearly IDENTICAL to Fruit Loops... delicious and no hint you're eating protein cereal. If you like Fruit Loops, this is a winner. 10/10
Cocoa: I'm a sucker for chocolate so I'm biased here, but that also makes me picky, haha. It's not Cocoa...

Lisa Buckham: Horrible protein taste

Jack: Flavors ranked in my opinion:
#1) Fruity. Genuinely reminds me of slightly less sweet version of fruity pebbles. Just as good for casual snacking as it is as a part of breakfast.
#2) Frosted. Moderately sweet, wouldn't make a direct comparison to frosted flakes (or many other frosted cereals), but those are woefully unhealthy due to the amount of sugar, which is presumably what buyers of this cereal are attempting to avoid.
#3) Peanut butter. The flavor reminds me more of a "peanut butter-type by- product" ( think along the lines of "cheese" vs "cheese flavored" by product). Doesn't really taste genuinely like peanut butter, but it may satisfy the need for a few people who aren't really after genuine flavor.
#4) Chocolate. Good effort, but the formula definitely needs some tweaking, doesn't taste like anything remotely approaching chocolate/cocoa. Easily the least sweet tasting of the bunch due to the somewhat bitter nature of cocoa powder, feels like it easily overpowers the sweetener, up to individual preference really.
PRICE WILL BE AN ABSOLUTE DEAL BREAKER.
Given the relatively small box size, asking essentially just shy of $11 per box is...

Lola: I LOVE Magic Spoon Cereal!!!! I finally found something that's healthier for me, low in carbs, calories & sugar, & even comes in a good variety of flavors. I really like the individually-packaged sampler...you get 4 flavors (2x/each) & they come in just the right size to take to work (in case I oversleep & skip breakfast). I do wish they would come down a bit in price, but taking these other factors into account, give these a try. They taste great...hard to believe that they're actually good for you!
