That being said,’it is quite well built for being plastic and the storage is huge and watertight.
My friend and I sit and chat on this thing and we are both well over 200lbs and it is doing fine.

6 months to a year of sun exposure will brittle plastic so I recommend a sun cover, also if one wanted to make super sturdy a piece of plywood on top of or screwed into bottom of bench top would reinforce - but again not necessary.
Find a good cushion and for the price it is a good buy

Jenn: Very good quality and sturdy. Easy to build and it holds so much! We have stored most of the beach toys in it and chairs, inflatable SUP, and more. Highly recommend. Looks wonderful and comfortable to sit on. 2 adults sat on it and average build. No sagging, held up, and love this. Colour was perfect too and matched the deck box perfectly. Perfect for the beach house.

Patsy Kittenbottom: I love this bench. I'm a 66 year old woman, strong but not very fit, and I put this together by myself in about an hour and a half on a warm humid day. I love the instructions, they're very easy to follow and friends rave about my pretty and useful bench that seats two sizable adults comfortably. I didn't realise this, but my sister has had a Keter shed for several years and it has withstood very cold Canadian winters when it's been totally buried in snow. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Keter product.

TheBowdensTheBowdens: We purchased this to be used as a double kitty condo for 2 feral cats we adopted. Our ferals don’t always want to cuddle/share the same space with each other hence the need for two sleeping areas.

Over the last few years we have tried a lot of different solutions, but have not cared for the space they took up on the porch 6 months out of the year. Plus they all ended up looking like we had built the equivalent of a “Kitty Ghetto” on our porch. Lol!
Some completely broke down, or looked trashy due to the weather, others just looked like the mixed mash of materials that they were. They all were, dry, and comfortable inside for the cats who also had 2 outdoor heating pad specifically for outdoor use with cats installed. In the long by run they still were not a permanent, or even semi-permanent solution- at least not for us, and definitely not for the front of our home. It’s not that we’re perfectionist, but the front porch is what everyone who comes to your house sees first. So we have been on the hunt for a better solution. One that would most importantly keep the Kat & Buddy comfortable & dry through what Mother Nature could throw at...

I purchased this with plans to put it on a deck or large dock. I also have a couple of Suncast 50 gallon deck boxes, so I have something to compare this to.

Pluses:
-Great Value: Other smaller outdoor storage benches usually cost about 20%-50% more
-Large storage: 70 Gallon
-Comfortable: first time my wife tried the bench, she remarked that she could sleep on it! :)
-Lockable (you provide the lock)
-Looks very nice
-Durable (seems like the heavy plastic used for some outdoor kids playsets...should last many years unless you're a really, really big and rough kid).
-The open-slat back allows you to add on outdoor cushions (see pic I uploaded). Suncast and some others have solid backs, so you can't use the same cushions. This was another reason I chose this model.

Minuses:
-Plastic isn't as nice as the Suncast (as noted more like the kids' play set plastic), so it doesn't seem as 'classy'
-A lot of flashing on some of the pieces. Flashing is plastic overflow during the molding process. I used to build a lot of plastic models and flashing was usually a sign of lower...
