Kahlua’s Mom: The box appears to be faIrly sturdy. How weatherproof it is remains to be seen. It does take a bit of strength to click the parts together and as a small older woman I found it a bit of a challenge. It might not be difficult for others.

Jan A.: We got a creepy crawler for our pool and the power plug is in a shed aways behind the pool. The electronic device that operates the crawler needs to sit near the pool and isn’t weatherproof so we put it inside this box (sitting on a concrete block inside) and placed it near the edge of the pool next to some potted plants. It looks good, blends in, keeps the electronic control box dry and handy.
It went through a hurricane this week with another block on top to weight it down and it has zero damage or water in it. I give this product an A+ and myself one for figuring out a good idea.

Alberta: Been looking for a few years for an attractive, small storage box for my condo balcony and finally found it.

Can stash all my pots, dirt, tools, lounger pad, planter stands and tarp I use to wrap my lounger in winter.

Functions as table/additional seating, and color and design make it look more like furniture than a functional storage box.

Finally, ease of assembly was great done in less than 10 minutes.

B. Connor: I shortlisted this and one other similar item, and chose this in the end a) because it was the heavier more solid of the two, and b) I already have a larger box of the same make and design.
While the large patio deck box has many screws holding it together, this model just has plastic lugs on the corner posts. At first this felt like a weakness, but for all normal use it's more than sufficient.
It requires a little dexterity but once you've figured how to hold everything aligned to put the top frame on, it's very quick and easy to assemble and stable. Some of the machining has left fluffy edges, but once it's assembled none of that shows, and it looks very respectable.
Its solid enough to sit on, by design. I expect it locks just fine, although I haven't bothered. The box is small enough someone could just carry it off if they were determined to get in.
It's sturdy and weatherproof enough for all normal use. All in all I'm very happy with it.
