Peg Mueller: This was a nightmare to install. My experienced installer said he had he almost gave up that it was the hardest thing he’s ever put together. The screws were not the right size and not in the holes and not in the right place. Do not buy.

Craig: Installing is unnecessarily complex. The drywall plugs and screws are hilariously wrong. I always have spare dryplugs and screws on hand somehow and it worked with my own drywall plugs and screws. You have to build the shelf unit first. Then mark only ONE hole. Then drill and screw in that one hole. Then as you push the shelf unit against the wall, get a leveller and place it along the top of the unit. Once you mark the second parallel hole, you can drill and install that one. There is no cross brace/support to ensure the unit stays fixed when you build it so there is a HIGh risk of screwing it in crooked. If you are able to install one shelf atleast while holding up the unit on the wall it will act as a cross support and you can then mark all hole and drill. Almost guaranteed you will have to buy new drywall plugs. The ones that come don't have a lip so they can go right through the drywall and fall inside your wall. The screws for the bottom holes is too short to accomodate the screw and black cap...buy your own screws. Hilarious time installing this. Once installed though it looks fantastic. Very sturdy and looks much more expensive than it is. Take it easy with the install....

jonrjonr: Seems like quality material, the three aluminum rails are solid, not hollow like I expected. The set screws for the glass shelves are brass and have rubber tips to grip the glass onto the unit. The thing is, the instructions are just pictures. I put it together and took it apart three times because I didn't know that the vertical support bars that tie the whole thing together have a top and bottom, and a left and right. Would benefit from some of those identifier stickers like ikea uses so you know which piece belongs where. Also, at each connection point, where the shelf bracket, guard rail and support bar join, is only one screw per. Which makes the unit hard to mount as it tends to rack out of square while you hold it with one hand and level and mark with the other. I had to partially mount it so I could mark it level and plumb, then remove it to drill the mount holes. The whole assembly/installation process could be streamlined with a couple of extra screws and better instructions. But, with that said, I love the way it looks and once you finally get it mounted, it's plenty sturdy.

AnacanAnacan: I’m someone who tends to buy items based on 4+ star reviews so it’s unusual for me to gamble on a product that has no reviews. I bought two of these for my bathrooms and I have to say, I’m satisfied! They can come off a touch “medicinal” or sort of stark/clinical, but once you add stuff it looks great! Functional, plenty of space, sturdy - I would definitely recommend. I have oil rubbed bronze fixtures that lean more black than brown so the black on this unit worked well. Install took maybe half an hour.
