Laurel Schoenrank: The sweater is pretty and soft but a bit thin. And the XL was too big for my 16 lb Havanese, even after I washed it. She kept ending up with one foot out of the leg hole. So I'll find a new home for that one. I have since bought a L and it fits her fine.

Amazon Customer: This sweater is super cute. It’s made from a nice thick material that seems like it would be warm. The problem we had is that based on the measurements, the weight recommendation seemed really off. I ordered anyway because it was inexpensive. I’m giving this a 4 because I think most dogs would probably fit well based on both measurements AND weight. Our dog is just built differently. She’s supposedly a husky, but has the bone structure of a very short greyhound. I’m going to wash it (because I was able to put it on her, although snug) and gift it to someone who has a dog with a much shorter body from head to hind.

Mary D.Mary D.: I love these. They are so soft & comfy for her. I purchased two. A small pink and a small yellow. The yellow fit perfect but the pink is to big to be safe. Her front leg either gets stuck up in the body or comes through the neck. I'm going to order another color and hope it fits like the yellow did. She is 5lbs 4oz Shih Tzu
Also they washed fine but I hung them to dry for the first wash.

PixiePixie: My Molly gets cold, shivers and is aways burrowing under the covers for warmth. Her winter coat is not practical for indoor wearing. I decided to get her a sweater and came across this item. Molly is 16.6 pounds, measures 11 inch neck, 19 inch chest, 18 inch girdle, 14 inch back. Her size measurements were between the L & XL on the sizing chart, so I ordered the XL since I wanted to make sure that the sweater was not too tight, Molly's weight was .3 lb heavier than the XL sizing chart, but all other measurements fell between the 2 sizes, the color purchased is Pink.
The garment is flexible & has great stretch, it is roomy enough to get it on & off easily, without any negative issues. The length along her back is a little long but that is perfectly fine because it does not get in the way.
The price is exceptional. The only negative is that the garment does "not" provide what the washing instructions are. The product description on Amazon only reads that "It's Easy To Wash & Dry". After I wash the sweater, I will post an update and how well it holds up.

L. Carroll: I'm a always skeptical about buying anything without seeing it for my dog. The size is sometimes are not the same. But I did my homework and looked up her weight and measured her back. And I bought an "Extra Large for a 16 pound dog."
The little shirt /sweater is beautiful! I am extremely pleased with it. I bought a purple one and a pink one and will probably buy 2 more! These are adorable! I will hand wash it as I know how some things get funny after washing in the washer. It's very nice and I want to keep it that way! Over all...a great buy and quality for the price!
