Kashi GO Breakfast Cereal - Plant-Based Protein and Fiber for a Healthy Start to Your Day

Paul Bogan: I love peanut butter, and I'll use it on and in all kinds of recipes. The one thing I hadn't found up 'til now was a peanut butter cereal that I liked. The peanut butter flavor was either too timid (Puffins) or too artificial (Reeses, which is ironic since I could live on their peanut butter cups). This one strikes the perfect balance. It tastes right, has the perfect ratio of crunch to peanutty flavor, and -- like other Kashi cereals I've had -- it's really filling.

PS: If you're a peanut butter and chocolate fan, mix this with the Kashi GO chocolate version. It's crazy good. Or if you want to get really decadent, leave the milk in the fridge and stir some of this into chocolate pudding. You'll thank me later.

MadisonMadison: I love the taste of this! It tastes like eating peanut butter toast, but the bits are way too crunchy for me. I would advise anyone with sensitive teeth to not buy this. Otherwise, love it!

Shianne: I'm addicted to this cereal, which really sucks because the calories are so high (like all granola). 😅 But the ingredients are clean/natural, it has great nutritional value, fiber, and tastes amazing! It's not just straight granola, it has these honey puff type of grains in it too. It also has bits of whole chocolate.

I buy this brand of cereal at least once a week and switch up the flavors depending on which nutritional aspect I'm most going for. There aren't huge differences, but there's enough of one to do this. For instance, I usually get the chocolate around the time of my period for the extra iron it has VS others. Other times I'll get the cinnamon or flax for the extra soluble fiber since I have stomach issues that it seems to help with.

All of them seem to have a nice amount of magnesium, which is surprisingly hard to find in most foods these days.

Aside from the calories, the biggest issue I have is the price! It's not overly expensive, but it is on the higher end of the spectrum for cereal. All of the other pro's make up for it, though.
