Kamik Women's Momentum Snow Boot - Keep Warm and Dry All Winter Long

Sarah F.: I really like the shape of the toe--great for slipping on ice grippers or snowshoes. The boots are very comfortable. I wear 7.5 and ordered the 8 and the fit is very good for thick socks. I like how waterproof they are. The reason I rated 4 stars is I wish the fuzzy stuff on the top of the boot didn't stick out so much--it's bunchy under my snowpants. Also, the material for the boots is very soft & supple, which is very comfortable for walking, but not as much ankle support as I expected. And, the bunchy fuzzy part gets pushed down by my snowpants and makes the flexible ankle material bunch out a little too. But other than that, I've worn them hiking and snowshoeing and overall am quite happy with them.

Sunny: Initially, I was hesitated to order a snowboot online due to differences in measurement between Asia and US. As we need a snowboot which can withstand negative degree, I tried at some stores in my home country and gauge the sizes in US. I am relieved that it fit well and together with my thick socks, I could still move around well and comfortably. I love the sponge at the front and back of the boots. I will definitely recommend Kamik to my family and friends as well as their speedy delivery at Amazon!

Judy B.: There were a few things that I was looking for in a snow boot. They had to be warm since I live in a very cold part of the country. I needed them to have a non-slip sole. Plus I wanted a pair of boots that had no animal products used in the making of them. These Kamik Momentum boots are everything that I was looking for. The first thing I did was try them out on my driveway which is covered in packed snow that had thawed a bit and then refroze, turning it into a sheet of ice. I was amazed. I did not slip on that icy driveway at all! Then I went walking in the deep snow. My feet were toasty warm. I have not had a chance to wear them yet when it's 25 degrees below, but I have a feeling the boots will keep my feet plenty warm. And the tags that came on the boots said they are vegan with no animal products in them. I do wish they were taller, but other than that, I got everything I wanted in a snow boot.

Sònia: Abrigan un montón! Tienen un relleno que las hace super calientes. Se ven resistentes y de calidad. De talla.... a ver, yo pedí el 37 pq estaba de oferta (mi número en zapato) y me va bien con un calcetín "normal" (tiene mucho relleno), pero no con uno gordo. Si piensas ponértelas con un calcetin gordo, pide la talla más grande que uses, pero no hace falta pedir 2 más. Ah, tiene muy buena tracción y no resbalan nada. Hice la prueba de tirar agua al suelo, y en un pie llevaba unas Sorel (ni con patines en una pista de patinaje resbalaria tanto....!!) y en el otro las Kamik..... aguantaron sin resbalar como unas campeonas! Las recomiendo.

Honest Reviews: I am usually a size 8.5 and ordered a 9 and they fit perfect. I loved the look, pretty cute and stylish, very lightweight and comfortable with good traction. Unfortunately, the rubber gets so cold that the insulation isn't enough to keep my feet warm, my toes froze at only -10°C! I have to go back to my super warm old Kamik Brooklyn snow boots when the temperature drops below -10°C but they do not work well in wet snow or slushy conditions. So if you are only looking for something very cute, real waterproof, and good traction than this boot is perfect.

wdf826: Really comfy boots. Bought for the trip to Poland in December, though it was going to be sub-zero temperature. But we were lucky that temperature was above zero when we were there. In fact, it was quite mild for December, so I didn't need to wear these boots except going to the concentration camp trip.

I wear UK size 6 and I bought the same size. They fit well and don't need to wear thick socks. However, there won't be enough space shall you need to wear thick socks I think.

I wore them for the whole day Auschwitz- birkenau trip. Comfortable enough for such long walking and standing. I don't find any faults in them so far.

Katja F.: Ich habe diesen Schuh jetzt gut 2 Monate getestet und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Bei meiner Schuhgröße 41/42 passte die bestellte Größe 42 sehr gut. Schön ist, dass sich dank der Schnürung im Schaft der Schuh am Bein schön festzurren läßt. Ich habe recht schmale lange Füße, aber wenn der Schuh mit der Schnürung gut festgezurrt wird und man dabei noch dicke Socken trägt, hat man genügend halt und schwimmt auch nicht im Schuh. Bislang habe ich die Füße im Schnee auch noch nicht nass bekommen. Bei Minustemperaturen bis -7 Grad waren die Schuhe auch ausreichend warm. Mit dem dicken Profil hat man guten halt und erstaunlicher Weise sind die Schuhe verhältnismäßig leicht am Fuß.

Twinpossible: I never get to treat myself to anything nice for me.. (kids), but when I saw I could get these boots here for $51.40 with coupon code I ran for it, as I deserve to 'treat my feet' like my kids get to also, no? Plus, I am sick of trashing my Uggs, sliding on snow and ice like crazy and putting baggies over my feet when we go sleigh riding. I needed snow boots that would be multi-functional. These look terrific and will protect.

Now have I tried these out yet on snowy terrain? No. May I still put on the baggies? I might because these don't seem to be like hardcore snow boots and my hub says to do that regardless, but for sure better than my slippery Uggs on the ice. I hurt myself numerous times delaying the purchase of better boots I couldn't afford, because on 'ol mom spending money is a waste. Not this time.

I will notice a happy difference for sure. And for rain these look great, and just look REALLY nice in general. The quality seems absolutely superb. I was not at all disappointed there. They are shapr looking to boot!

What I was nervous about was the fit. I'm a size 7.5-8 in shoes and boots. I read the reviews and was confused. Do I buy a size up or go...

Miss K: I ordered these boots to replace my Sporto boots that have sadly, seen their last NYC winter. The Sporto boots were an inexpensive purchase & considering that they lasted about 3 years, that's not too bad. This is my first pair of Kamik boots, so I hope they live up to the high praise. First off, I ordered the Dark Brown boots in a woman's U.S. size 9. I was fearful that they would not fit based on the fact that I normally "size up" when ordering boots & normally wear a size 10. Some reviewers said, "size up" & some say "size down". I'd have to go with sizing down. I have wide, flat feet & big calves & these boots fit just fine. You can wear normal trouser socks or tube socks & they still won't be too tight. I have not tried them on with thermal socks. The boot is entirely fur-lined, not just the top so they "should" be warm & toasty in cold weather. The tread seems good & deep to prevent slipping & sliding. The rubberized toe portion seems sturdy enough to resist rips & moisture seeping into the boot. Also, this boot is surprisingly lightweight & not clunky. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars out of 5, is because I haven't worn...
