Not the sane gloves as years past but still a good brand. As I have noticed with other reviews, the description can be misleading. It is one PAIR as per price noted. I feel these should be listed as pairs not items. I will know for future reference.: I use them to weld as does everyone else that buys these. I’m not appreciative of the fact the description is misleading making you think yours getting 2 pair per price advertised as opposed to 2 gloves per price quoted. A little info goes a long way and I think the info provided was misleading.

x: The lining differs from my old pairs but they still fit, just barely, and work well. I mostly use them for MIG welding.

The Deafman: I was purchasing these gloves on a regular basis. The last 2 pairs were not to the high standards I have become accustomed to. This is why I bought so many pairs, as they WERE high quality long lasting durable gloves. This is no longer true. They have become unsewn from inside the finger lining, unsewn from the cuff and turned inside out when taking off my gloves. So disappointed in this lower quality imposter than the real thing.
I will no longer waste my hard earned money on this garbage. I now go directly to my local welding supply store and purchase the best quality gloves that are available for around $5.00 less.

Taco: Excellent gloves, I use them for everything except their intended purpose because I don't weld, but I am sure it would be top notch at that.
I originally bought these to remove some thorny rose bushes for my wife. They worked so well, I started using them for other gardening work and my fall cleanup. They protected my hands while shovelling, chopping wood, planting hedges, scraping paint, using my chainsaw, etc.
These are great protection for your hands in all sorts of work. I accidentally dropped my take once and picked it back up together with some thorny vines I had been raking, no punctures, no pricks, no issues.
In the winter I keep these by the fireplace and skip them on if I need to handle the poker's and clamps for the wood. I once put a large poorly chopped log in the fireplace and while repositioning it with the poker caused it to slip, my reflex was to reach out and catch/ push the piece back in place. Good thing I had these gloves on, coulda been a nasty burn.
The XL size fit me comfortably with room to spare, I normally wear L or XL gloves depending on the manufacturer.
