herbert barnard: Hard to get on & off the first few times but they work great and last longer than some other brands.

viewer, Miami Beach: I bought from HPMS Inc. - The Therapy Connection, through Amazon.com, 20 pairs of Jobst compression socks 15-20 mmHg. These socks are inferior to what I have had from Jobst: They are flimsy and weak; have only 1/3 the amount of fabric. My toe goes through it in the first wear!

Jobst compression socks 15-20 mmHg used to be of high quality - sturdy, like ski socks. They could use 5 wears before a hole would appear in them. I trusted Jobst, so I bought 20 pairs of Jobst compression socks 15-20 mmHg. I used 6 pairs. The 30-day return expired, so the vender would not take back the 14 unused pairs. I contacted Jobst at msrp.questions@bsnmedical.com and they ignored me.

My point is this: Companies may "cut corners" to pay less and make a profit. However, for a medical company, i.e. Jobst / bsnmedical.com, to do this is particularly LOW because this is a health issue, and people use compression socks for their health benefits.

Don't buy socks from Jobst. Look elsewhere.

G&M Cln: If you are on your feet at work for most of the time , standing and doing a lot of walking, you have to try compression socks, you will really notice the differance. You will feel great the whole day walking around and your feet and legs will not get tired. I used to always see the mailperson wear the long socks with short pants, it looked goofy and now I know what kind of socks he had on, and I know now how great his feet and legs felt at the end of the day.The 25- 20mmHg compressions is great but the 30mmHg is the best.I am sure you will be looking for a few more pairs after you tried your first pair of Compression Socks.
