Aimee: I think this would have worked really well for me if I got a shade darker than my natural hair! I'm a medium blonde, so I got the blonde shade. But unfortunately, the powder itself is a similar color to my pale complexion, so it turns out that I'm just caking skin-colored powder onto my scalp (which, of course, does nothing). If I'd chosen a bit darker of a color, I can see how it would fill in the gaps, and would probably look a bit more like natural roots as well. Don't make the same mistake as me - go one shade down! :)

Waterfalls: Tried both colors. Red not saturated enough to cover greys but brunette covered really well but is pretty dark in color.

Satisfied customer in Burlington, ON: This product, when applied to the thinning areas of the ROOT it creates a very natural looking shadow that completeley covers up thinning and the scalp becomes invisible. Easy to apply, goes where you put it and remains until you wash your hair. I used to have too much hair and now it is really thinning, especially in the front. This product helps with my self confidence as it gives me "perfect hair days" every time I use it. Highly reommend it.

Whodat: I have been using this for years. Like some others have probably mentioned, years ago the formula was different (when Joan Rivers was still alive, RIP), it went on a lot easier and the coverage was more consistent, as in not as blotchy. Those days are over. That said, I still use it because I know what to expect. I don't want to waste $ on a new product I might not like. The colors do confound the mind - I had dark brown hair, and used the color blonde. Because it is very dark. I now have dark auburn hair, so I use the red which is an ok match. If you had light red hair, it would probably be too dark. It does last a number of days - basically till you wash your hair again. Boo hoo to me, I had ordered this a few months back but there was a snow storm - order never came, had to cancel. When I went to re-order it a couple of month later, it had gone up $5. Lucky thing it lasts for a long time. I only use it at the front.
