Jensensdad: The artwork and story are great. I can see why AppleTv picked it up as a great storyline and made a wonderful show out of it. Really good work.

Jason Galbraith: The image that accompanies these final words of the graphic novel being reviewed powerfully demonstrates the moral superiority of the heroine over the villain, who has killed hundreds of his silo's inhabitants (among the last few score thousands of people in the world) but whom she refuses to kill. The worst punishment for a power-crazed killer like that is doing menial labor for the rest of his life, so that is what she arranges.
Maybe the best thing about "Wool" though is how much it leaves to the imagination. The heroine's ally Lukas infers that those who created the Silos also ended life above, but we never find out how or why. We are left to infer (from the personality of villain Brewster) that they did so for the sake of having a smaller human population over whom they could exercise the sort of absolute moral and psychological power that a large and extremely diverse society makes impossible.
I deduct one star because the original story was about the two people who die in the first few pages of this version and are therefore here more or less ciphers without well-developed personalities. Feel certain however that Juliette Nichols was the right choice for...

Dan K. Scott: Okay, it’s not a movie. Like so many limited series, this comic is written and drawn like they’re waiting to e-sign a Netflix adaptation toot-sweet. But this is that rarer comic that balances just enough storytelling to make a dystopian nightmare enjoyable for a reader. It’s worth it!

Mary Koppenhofer: This graphic novel covered the same basic story as Wool, but without the exposition it was very disjointed. If I hadn't already read the book I wouldn't have known what was going on.
But it is still a great story. It's a classic of modern world building.

Relapsed Bookworm: This is the first graphic novel I read on a digital device and what a treat it has been. Stunning art, beautifully presented. Liked the concept of the story too and it's conclusion

Ignacio Uriarte: I loved the Hugh's book, and now some years later I entered the silo with my own eyes. Thanks, it is a good story.

Ivan Lapis: I've read wool, listened to the audiobook, and now seen the graphic novel. It's all amazing! Now, I wish it comes out as a movie. This story is just so captivating. The graphic novel provided just exactly the visuals I have in mind, a better visuals for things that were a little vague from written descriptions from the book.
