Get your set today and start drinking in a more sustainable way!C and L: I drink hot coffee through a straw. Recently, I switched to these glass straws and stopped using plastic. I am very impressed. I have dropped these straws numerous times on my hard tile kitchen floor and they have yet to break. They also do really well in my dishwasher, even on the sanitizing mode. I really like the glass straws more than the metal straws because with glass there isn't a weird metal taste (there's really no taste at all). They handle hot liquids (like my coffee) just fine and my kids even use them. I ordered two sets of the bent and straight mix and not one has broken (which with my kids using them is pretty amazing). I highly recommend these as an alternative to plastic and metal straws. I love them and feel that they are more than worth the $7 price.

Tuff Tex: I am cautiously giving these five stars because I have not actually dropped one on the floor yet. I did drop one on the countertop and it was fine. A few things I noticed very quickly: My smoothie seems much colder by the time it hits my tongue. I did not think that plastic could potentially lower the temperature, but something about drinking out of the glass straws really makes it seem much colder, which is a plus. Also, it took a little getting used to not teething the straw. I’m used to holding the plastic straw with my teeth, yet I don’t advise that with these glass straws. By the third use, I was broken of that habit. Finally, they don’t fit in all of the cups that have the lids with holes. I figured that going in, so no surprise there. Overall, I would order these again and I will likely give them as Christmas gifts this year, so I hope none of my “green” friends/family are reading this.

Joseph J. Truncale: The beautiful thing about the internet and Amazon is that you can get just about anything on line today. With the increasing environmental problem with plastic bottles, straws and other material polluting our oceans, lakes and rivers I decided to stop using the plastic straws and ordered this fantastic set of clear glass (9x10mm) straws for a bargain price on Amazon.
I ordered a four pack which included two straight glass straws and two curved glass straws which also came with a handy cleaning brush. I have used them a few times and found them to be great and they are easy to keep clean with the brush.
If you are into drinking with straws and are concerned with the environment of our planet and the pollution of plastic you may want to check out this set of glass straws.
Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Seated/Chair Tai Chi, Qigong and Yoga for seniors and for the physically challenged).

Kathy T: Trying to be conscious of reducing the amount of plastic garbage I generate - I ordered these glass straws. And I must say I'm about to order my second set. I LOVE them. They are surprisingly not fragile and they keep your drink icy cold until it gets to your mouth. They are a tiny bit thicker than your average straw but I'd rather them be exactly like this than to be too thin and then subseqently, fragile. Plastic straws are a big problem for the environment. These are a great solution. I put them in the dishwasher with no problems ( although they do include a tiny brush for washing inside the straw.) Excuse me while I go order my second set...
p.s. Just received my second set - I STILL LOVE THEM ! They are really good straws. They keep your drink super cold and they do not pollute the environment. Be ecologically responsible, like me, and get a set ( or two) today !

DaveSincere: I was somewhat hesitant to purchase these first. I didn't really see the benefit of having personalized straws, plus I was accustomed to biting my straws.
These arrived and I was pleasantly surprised. Each straw was individually wrapped. You are able to get a good amount of liquid through them without having to use much force or breath. They're super simple to clean with the added brush that came with them. I make smoothies a lot and these are perfect for them. Good quality.
You must be careful with how you handle these though. You can't just smash or throw your container in a sink or anything like that. The straws are wide so they will not fit into every container.
