A Grant: ok so his baby hamper (wasn't babyish in design, but it's what we first outfitted his nursery with) lasted until he was almost 9 years old and then it became dang near impossible to find a hamper that wasn't too toddler-y or too grown up for his room. Plus we needed something that would be easy for HIM to take downstairs to the laundry room every week on laundry day. The ones that looked nice and were well-made were just way too heavy for that. So we hopped on Amazon and he positively flipped out when he saw a RAVENCLAW CLOTHES HAMPER. MOM LOOK I CANNOT BELIEVE IT. Lol. Honestly, I thought it looked a little rinky dink and when I read the measurements I thought, how is this gonna hold a whole week of his dirty clothes? BUT while I didn't measure it while expanded, I am happy to say it is the same size as the hamper he had before, can definitely fit a week's worth of kids' clothing, and it's lightweight and easy for him to carry downstairs himself. It may seem pricey for what it is, but you know how licensing is. Besides, I would definitely pay extra for any item that makes my son WANT to put his dirty clothes in a hamper and not all over the floor! Worth it!
