Good quality, see-through clear, nice clip to hold pen or pencil. I use it for my Sudoku books from Kat Andrews. I tear out the answers and place them face down, so I can see them through the back of the clip board. I also tear out the puzzles and put them face up on top of the answers. It provides a sturdy writing surface and a convenient way to check the solutions by just flipping the clipboard over.

This is a vibrant blue shade of clipboard that my son loves! He's starting 4th grade and each kid needs their own clip-board, he chose this one and it turned out great. I was afraid it would be more clear than blue but it's actually quite bright! It's also extremely light weight which is a plus. It seems pretty sturdy and I don't think dropping it would break or crack it. Should he desire to break it for some reason (again, he's 9!) then he could shatter it but if that happens, it would clearly be intentional and he would CLEARLY be replacing it with his own money he'd have to work for AFTER being grounded.
