This mattress expanded to maximum capacity in about 8 hours, and was slept on that very evening by my granddaughter, who exclaimed that it was one of the most comfortable mattresses she had ever slept on! The value for the money of this mattress is exceptional. I would not hesitate to buy another if needed for aa different room some day! Highly recommend!

Bought 2 of these mattresses in twin size to fit a new bunkbed for the grandkids. It recommended nothing more than 6" so the search began. Thanks to the other reviewers, I decided on this mattress and it doesn't disappoint. It comes vacuum packed in a long box (which is heavy) - once out of the box, we put it in the bed and then pulled off the plastic. As it starts to expand, we just rolled it back then pulled off the rest of the plastic. It took several hours to completely expand - the memory foam is firm but soft, perfect for the kids. Very nice mattress for a great price -

So I’ll admit I didn’t measure the bed frame before ordering because I assumed a twin bed would fit a twin frame. (As opposed to stuffing a twin xl into a twin frame). It seems this bed is slightly off in the dimensions. It could stand to be a couple inches shorter side to side and a couple inches longer end to end. You can see in the photo how it’s pressing on the guard rail and there is space left at the end. Now, this photo was taken just as I had unrolled it so it did expand a bit over time but that would just make it bigger all around, not any thinner side to side. It was rather difficult to get the mattress cover and sheets on as it’s sort of heavy as well as being a tight squeeze side to side (and on the top bunk as well)! It was for my 9 year old son and he is the only one that has slept on it so far and he says it’s comfy. The bottom bunk has a 12” mattress of similar make (I believe it’s Hotel brand from Sam’s) but I had to order an 8” for the top due to needing to be shorter than the railing for safety reasons. So first the negatives, it's a little bigger than a normal full size mattress so there's some overhang on my frame, it's also very firm and holds body heat rather than dispersing it(that's probably normal) that's actually about it for negatives lol. The firmness is kind of a good thing probably, I used to sink into my spring mattress so it was extremely bad on my back. This mattress is very good on my back. It takes a while to kind of adjust to your body but I got the best nights sleep I've had in years last night(first time sleeping on it). I highly recommend it for bigger folks like myself(weight). I'm gonna probably update this review after a few weeks, but for now I can tell you I love the thing
*Update* it's been about 10 days and I'm fully satisfied with this mattress. I've been getting good sleep and my back pain has improved, I don't toss and turn to get comfortable anymore. I sound like an ad but it's true. 5 out of 5

The mattress immediately started to expand and by 24 hours it looked almost complete. I still waited for 48 hours before seeing the full potential and by 72 hours it looked like it should.
The soft cover on top is really nice and has a luxurious feel to it. The blue trim around the perimeter looks sharp. The zipper works easily if you need to open up the mattress and check out the interior foam.
I definitely think this a great buy and I am very happy with the mattress. I might add that I absolutely did not smell any odors from the time I opened the plastic and after the mattress had expanded.
