Isaiah Sackenheim: I used the one I purchased to cut holes in plastered drywall and an exterior wall with various types of wood paneling. I didn't use it as a punch to get the holes started and drilled a hole instead; I don't trust using Drywall saws as punches some have broken, bend and such. The sawing capabilities are very good and even though I used it on plaster the saw blade is still quite sharp.
For the price and what I bought it for I'm mostly certain I bought nearly the best option.

Amazonian: Real drywallers use the tool to help lift drywall. It's sharp thats for sure but very thin and flimsy. We aint cutting up Salmon here.
