Samantha:
Love the concept. YES it is risky to give your baby all of the allergens at once. Many are saying things like “how do you know which allergen your baby is allergic to if you use this product?”. Quick answer, you don’t, that’s the risk. For us, it worked out and our baby had zero reactions. If she had, we would have had to backtrack and introduce each allergen individually. This was a quick way to introduce all of the allergens and monitor her reaction, or lack thereof.
That being said, I initially went to put this into her bottle. We use Comotomo fast flow nipple. Unfortunately, no matter how long I shook the bottle it just would not come out. Didn’t matter if the bottle was cold or warmed. So, we wasted a packet and put subsequent packets in her solids (oatmeal, yogurt, etc). She loved it!

Melissa Cox:
When my baby was old enough to start the weaning process my pediatrician had recommended adding some peanut butter powder to oatmeal/cereals to help decrease the risk of a peanut allergy. We did that and it went well. Then I found SpoonfullONE and loved that it covered so many more potential allergens. At the next regular pediatrician check-up, I mentioned that I was feeding my baby SpoonfulONE and the doctor got excited. She had heard of it and really liked the concept. She was happy that one her patients was using it and said she will let other parents know especially as time elapses and my boy continues to be free of food allergies.
I tend to mix in the powder with mushy foods/purées/cereals/oatmeal/etc. So far the baby has had no reaction and ate it all up. I tried one time to mix with formula and that was a hard pass for my boy. Maybe because he knew what formula normally tasted like or because the liquid thickened just a little too much, but he refused the bottle for the first time. But adding to foods as we wean is still really easy.
I also feed the baby the puffs as well. I find the powder easier to work with but keeping a pouch of the puffs in the...

Megan M.:
I heard about SpoonfulOne via online. With many of my friends' children who have severe peanut allergies, I have been doing my research on what is the most current advice to prevent allergies. I asked my doctor about it and she confirmed that study results do indeed say that you should introduce small amount of common allergens early and often - so we decided to give SpoonfulOne a try around 4 1/2 months with our son.
We first tried to place it in the bottle, and medium flow nipples didn't work - it got stuck. We contacted SpoonfulOne and they mentioned they are working on improving the bottle version of the packet and it will be released sometime in spring/summer 2020.
Because of that we are placing it in our son's pureed food on a daily basis. He seems to like it with no adverse side effects! I'm excited for when he can eat "Cheerios" and then start eating the puff version of SpoonfulOne.
I would recommend this to anyone who is even slightly concerned about food allergies. The peace of mind knowing we are doing everything possible to prevent severe allergies is definitely worth the $$!

Mom:
NOTE - don't try this unless you have consulted a pediatrician/allergist - My youngster is sensitive to peanut and sesame in high quantities (can take either in low quantities, but gets hives and lip swelling if concentrated forms like peanut butter or tahini are served). I decided to try SpoonfulOne as a gentle way to reintroduce allergens to LO's diet. We worked our way up from 1/4 of a Spoonful to one whole Spoonful per day. Child is now eating one whole Spoonful per day with zero reactions to date. If I had to guess, the dosage must be super low to cause zero reactions in a child who has food sensitivities. My child also tested positive via skin test for cashew and pistachio but has zero problem with the cashew/pistachio in SpoonfulOne.
Please also note -- as a parent who knows how scary food reactions can be, we have an epi pen at home and have personally accepted the risk of at-home oral immunotherapy. I would not recommend this for anyone whose child is anaphylactic or has had severe/multiple reactions to an allergen, as the sensitivity can worsen and may need to be treated medically.
I saw some other parent's comments that it doesn't mix...

Jacqueline B.: I've been reading a lot about food allergies lately as we have a new baby in the family and I'm a teacher - so see a lot of kids with really bad food allergies which can be quite scary at times.. So it turns out that many food allergies can be prevented if you feed them to the baby early on in life (which is not what the ped. told us for my other kids). So we started giving her a little bit of different foods every few days, but it's really hard to get eggs and nuts and fish into a baby. Then I saw this product and thought I'd try it out. Its pretty amazing in that It has all the major allergens in one pack in tiny little amounts. They say the amount is too small to cause a reaction but enough to train my baby's immune system to get used to the foods. I've been giving it in her porridge for a little less than a week and so far so good. I obviously can't tell if it's working but for me it's an insurance policy. I don't want my child having to sit at the peanut-free table or go to birthday parties and not be able to have cake. I'm going to stick with the mix-ins for a while and then try the little puffs as it might be a bit cheaper as they recommend giving it to a...

Ashleigh: The price on amazon is terrible compared to getting it in the states, but its a hard to find item so I get it. It does have a taste and its weird, think of all the ingredients mixed together. Managed to get my son to eat some of it, so it did serve its purpose but I wish it was tasteless and that it wasn't almost $7 a packet.
