Reading this with my children and they are really enjoying it. Well-written, lots of interesting facts, stories and illustrations. We read ot all and now the kids have picked out a couple of artists they want to learn more about. Fun easy read. Definite must have for young artists

Great introduction to art. Has a bit of info on the artist and one of their paintings and the techniques used. Also has general information on art, colours, techniques etc scattered throughout. As someone who knows nothing about art, and wanting to teach our daughters, this is a great place to start!

Excellent book to introduce children to different artists.
My only issue is that I was charged Rs 1351/- whereas the price sticker on the book says Rs 1050.

I got this for my 5 year old daughter who loves all things art. She likes to see the different works of art and hear about the artists. I love to hear her comment on the art... she notices some detail about it and tells me, or says how she likes the colors and brushstrokes, or tells me about the way it makes her feel. Love it!
I do think some of the selections could be improved, but a good intro to the works of so many artists.
