Kristen Harding: My little cockatiel loves to climb on this and find his sunflower seeds hidden inside. It’s bigger than expected and excellent quality!

kmpskmps: The big plastic rings at the top (three in total) are meant to attach to a wire cage. There is a little slit to do that. Then after it's attached, you spin it around so the grooves in the rings are catching on the cage. Brilliant! That way when your massive macaw or grey is tearing it up, it won't slip out and fall down, resulting in a frightened bird. There are four cups with maneuverable lids to put in treats, veggies, smaller foot toys, or whatever.
I'm definitely getting a few more of these. I love 'em.

Amazon Customer: Its a great mat and my linnies absolutely love it but one of my linnies ended up getting his toe caught in it and it might be broken. Something to take into consideration when getting this for a smaller bird. Be careful.

Lisa Lambeth: I bought this product hoping it would take up a lot of space on one side of my two budgies' cage to try to discourage one of them from chewing on the cage bars, and it did the trick! That said, it doesn't hang completely flush with the cage on its own, so I tied it down on the two vertical sides to keep it 100% flush with the cage bars. It is attractive, colourful and the main part is constructed of eco friendly materials, though the toys on it are not. The only other thing of note is that it is too big to fit through the cage door without folding it some.

SLK: I have four parakeets. Two of them can't get enough of this toy. They had the top layer untied the first week, they are having a blast...and my room is a mess. The other two are certain this toy is the Grim Reaper come to collect their little bird souls.
I did my own little spin on things with this product and I LOVE how it's worked out. I cut the string that holds together the four foraging cups. I knotted each of them separately onto cage toy hooks. They are super easy to remove and add food and treats to this way. I also took the "baby clips" used to secure this toy totally off and away from my birds. We had a pretty freaky scare one day as one of the birds got caught as he was being a dork and crawling into the circle. I used zip ties on the toy after that. No playing behind the toy or getting caught by the round hooks. I will be buying more of these in the future for sure!!!

cougar26: I recently adopted a rescue Grey and she was afraid of everything and wouldn't even look at any of the toys that I had previously bought for her, but this toy she took to within 24 hours. She worked hard to get the peanut out of each ball. It gave her something to do besides plucking her feathers out! The only down side is that she destroyed the whole wall within 4 days! However I will be ordering a few more of them in the near future just to keep her busy!

AlMN: I bought this for a parrotlet in the hopes of teaching her to forage.
When I first received it, I realized it's much larger than I anticipated. The little coconut foraging cups are several inches in diameter. I figured at the very least my bird could just chew on the sea grass rope.
The quality is great - smells a bit like plant material but it's mild and not unpleasant. The plastic pieces appear well made and durable (for a small to medium bird like a parrotlet, lovebird, conure).
I started teaching her how to use it by putting only fresh veggies in my bird's food bowl and placing large and obvious pieces of millet in the coconut cups - so much millet that they stuck out the top and didn't allow the little plastic tops to come down. I'd leave for work and come back to millet all over the floor -- success!
After a few days of this I drastically reduced the amount of millet in each coconut, allowing the plastic "tops" to close. I was skeptical that my usually-lazy bird would work very hard for the seeds, but without fail I come home and there are seed husks scattered everywhere. Since I'm only feeding her veggies, the seeds could have only come from...

Cat Astrophied: My cockatiel has the worst case of "destructive chewing" I've ever seen - even if he were a larger parrot. While this toy is obviously for slightly larger parrots, chewing toys for small birds are destroyed in seconds when it comes to Lou Bird. He has a large flight cage, and enjoys crawling all over the mat (which is VERY LARGE and might not fit in a smaller cage), chewing pieces of the mat off, and the "waffle stuffer" toy on top is cheap to replace through Super Bird Creations (who makes this toy) and one of his absolute favorites. We purchased 2 of these mats so when he's chewed off enough of the top we can quickly replace it with the other, and "repair" the toy by flipping it upside down. Despite being a rather small bird, he loves moving the tops of the large "foraging pods" (I don't know what else to call them) and enjoys the brightly colored wooden beads in the center. He's NEVER bored with this toy. It's great for exercise and to relieve boredom/stress if your parrot is a chewer.
Pros: Large, has many toys, toys can be reused if mat is chewed up, great for "chewers," keeps bird interested for a long time.
Cons: may be too large for smaller birds or smaller cages...

AnjeleJ: I have purchased several of these. The fit is perfect for the back side of her cage and she plays and preens with it often. Often I have a backup on hand and when one is shredded I save some of the toys and attach them to the new or make a hanging chain with them.
