William R.: Lower ratings for durability. It is not a 'forever' toy. It has plastic moving parts, which eventually wear to the point it doesn't work perfectly.
That said, the first one I bought lasted about 4 years, with probably 4-6 'uses' per week. Poking their paws inside eventually wears on the 'joint' system that moves the toys around. I guess if they were metal, they would last longer, at a much larger cost. In the end, no complaints.
I just bought another one. The first still 'revolves', but the mouse doesn't always stick through the holes. Maybe 20% of the time. Really, the cats don't care that much. They still keep trying to catch it.
One note: The feather toy doesn't last very long. It has only been a week or two, and there are only a couple of feathers left. My cats are pretty good killers. The mouse toy lasts much longer. They can't get their teeth on it.
Recommended.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: So frustrating when things show up not working. AND the seller doesn't make themselves available to ask for a replacement. My Corgi was so disappointed. Anyway, this IS the greatest cat/Corgi toy! I usually buy this in a store, took a chance online, won't again. What I want you to know is, if you can find one of these in a store, get it. It is so much fun, keeps my Corgi attentively playing. THE best exercise. When this toy comes out for play, she NEVER takes her eyes off of it. You actually have to distract her to turn it off. Yes, the feathers get wet, yes, you'll have to eventually replace it because they pull the feathers off, but it is so worth it. This one didn't work straight from the box and since I've had this before I could hear the motor trying to work but wouldn't even turn. In summary, 5 star toy just maybe not from this seller.

Amazon Customer: Great fun for the cats trying to catch the toy mouse

Shorty203: Pros: My cats love it! The "whack a mole" type toy really catches & keeps their attention & love the automatic turn off after 15 minutes. There's an option to turn off the chirp sound & cats like it but the sound could get annoying for a human. There are a total of 3 toys that came with mine, 2 feather toys & one mouse toy. The mouse toy is pretty durable. They have been playing with it for about a week now & just stating this to say that its still using the first batteries I supplied.
Cons: A few rubber feet came off in no time & had to remove the remaining rubber feet to keep cats from chewing/eating them. Feather toy lasted like 2 days - so glad it came with replacements! One cat figured out that she can just stick her whole paw in one hole to catch it. Suggest that the holes be smaller. It would be nice if there were multiple speed choices - my cats are very quick but there could be other cats who may need a slower speed as well. In my opinion, its a little pricey & uses 4 C batteries - would be cool to have a USB charging option.
Overall I'm glad I made the purchase & hope this review can help someone with their purchase & at the same...

Colleen: I have 3 cats, 1 doesn’t care at all for this, 1 will sit and watch while the 3rd is obsessed with the toy. I suppose it all depends upon your cat. The one that is obsessed is 13 so it’s not an age thing. I’m glad it’s given him some excitement. It’s well made so far (3m+) and I really like the timer button and option to turn off the chirping sound. There is still noise, clunking sound, when the chirp is off but I find it tolerable for the amount of time it’s on.

Jana Godwin: We had a model that the cat just adored - shredded the feathers quickly, and ate off the mouse, then the arm motion stopped (looks like perhaps a 'gear' stripped?) Ordered this current model, and realized that not all duplicate toys are manufactured the same... the arm motion was much more jerky, and the unit itself is MUCH more noisy with the mechanical sound of the motor/arm (and, yes, we turned off the squeaky sound). Cat still enjoys it, but after a couple of minutes she gets put off by the sound. Best thing is that it does shut itself off, but wish there was an adjustable timer or motion sensor so we could end the noise sooner!

AIvory: The toy works well and everything but my cats just stare at it. One of them is afraid of it and the other just seems uninterested.
But my cats are adults. Maybe better for kittens or younger cats??

Maxime S.: The media could not be loaded. Brand new C batteries fresh out the store. Batteries are good until 2032 and the toy is bugging like hell. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. This video was taken after 30 seconds of utilisation. And to ad shame on the product, the mechanism is so noisy that my cat is afraid of it.
