It turned out that it was no match for her bite and ended up popping with no way to pump back up. I’m thinking about getting another one (larger version), thinking she won’t be able to put her teeth around it, but probably won’t.

R. Smith: I nought 2 of these, one for each of my Aussies. All I can say is they love them. My female loves to carry deflated soccer balls around to rest her head on when she is watching her energetic brother! I believe she is the First lazy Aussie ever!! Once she figured out how to use tabs to carry it she actually ran & played with it!! Sugar Mae has to have big size soccer balls so I bought size 3. She occupies allows brother play with his. I discovered this morning that during the night ArrowSmith had sneaked his soccer ball in his room to hide from his sister! Yes with so much estrogen in the home our little man has his Own room to get away & chill from us gals! Sister sneaks in there at times to make sure he hasn’t stolen any of her toys or if she decides she now owns one of his!! These balls have lasted and haven’t been popped….yet! Usually all balls in this house are popped in 1 minute or less!
Buying one bigger than your dog will also keep it from being popped so quickly. Both balls came with pumps but I have a quick foot pump I used.
I did NOT unfortunately receive any type of incentive for my 5 star review but paid Full Price for Both...

Yvette G.: I have a 13 month old standard poodle who has been systematically digging up my back yard and bringing clods of dirt and grass into the house. I was looking for something she could play with outside that would capture her interest so she wouldn’t dig anymore. She is in love with this ball. It has to be pumped up every so often and she watches closely and excitedly while it’s being done. The fabric handles allow her to carry it around. Her digging hasn’t stopped completely but it’s about 1/10th of what it was. I think I’m going to buy another one in case she succeeds in destroying this one. It’s holding up well so far.

MandaManda: First off this is my dog's absolute favorite toy. He will run around with it and shake his head around. He hates leaving it and will always run back to it. However, there have been a handful of instances where he has left it outside and it was outside for a few days and it got cold and I saw no damage to the ball. While he does chew on the handles, he doesn't feel the need to try to tear this toy apart. He isn't big with doing that in general (besides with cat toys but those are also not as durable as dog toys). So I cannot comment how it would be for a dog that seeks out trying to tear a toy apart or would try to fray the nylon handles.

I love this toy so much because I don't have to reach down to grab it. I can instead just kick it which is nice. It is also more fun to me to try to kick it as far as I can so I personally get more enjoyment from playing with the toy than having to reach down to grab the toy. Since it is a soccer ball material it is easy to clean. It got all muddy and I just ran it under water and yes the handles were still wet but they dried reasonably fast. Some toys get so messy outside and are impossible to clean. If I was going out...

Wakeboard GirlWakeboard Girl: So far this ball seems to be high quality, with a slightly softer outer cover than real leather outdoor soccer balls. It arrived with a 1cm slit through the outer covering, & since it didn't affect its ability to hold air, I applied shoe goo glue & repaired it myself (see before/after pics). I found no unusual smell upon opening. I like its weight & bounce, & the carry tabs have held up well against play with my 2 dogs who are both totally infatuated with it. So far (1 month), it remains durable, & has not lost any air. However, we play fetch with it, then I put it up afterwards, as it definitely would not last as a full-time chew toy, nor is it designed to be. I'm hoping the carry tabs will help the ball last longer, as my dogs tend to carry regular soccer balls by wedging their teeth in between the seams, eventually causing a hole, & thus the untimely demise of the ball...so far they're choosing the carry tabs...& hopefully that continues. Highly recommend as a ball for observed indoor or outdoor play. Would've been 5 stars without the defect.
