Sandy Butt: Unfortunately this toy doesn’t work well on carpet. But other than that it’s great.

margo e.: The remote mouse I had for the past ten year finally gave up the ghost. I bought this mouse for three kittens. One has long hair and the mouse got caught in his hair and the poor kitty kept running in circles trying to remove it. Thinking it as a fluke, I gave it to the kitty, and it got caught again within a few minutes. Also, when the cats bat at it and the mouse rolls over, it is too heavy for the cats to put back on its wheels, so the motor spins until the cats walk away because of lack of movement. Please do not buy this product.

Lazemaple: This toy is so noisy on flooring it scares the cat. The "meow" noise it is supposed to make is so faint can barely be heard, a disappointment! It does go along, bump into things and back away as its supposed to however. Purrhaps our new kitten won't be such a fraidy cat!

Cathleen P.: I've been really disappointed by battery-charged cat toys that burn through batteries. This USB-charged toy charges quickly and runs for a long time. I was concerned that it may only run on hardwood or tile floors, but the mouse runs great on my low-pile carpet. It pauses, backs up, pivots and goes a variety of directions, which keeps the kitties alert and interested. It pauses and goes dormant if it gets stuck for awhile or the cats walk off, so it doesn't just sit and spin in an annoying manner. I love it so much I bought two of them. I occasionally put objects along the bed so it doesn't run underneath, but when it does, it often runs all the way through the other side. The feather tail is a great feature, as the cats love to drag it around by the tail. If they flip it over, they're often able to right it by themselves because it is so sturdy. Great great toy!

Amazon Customer: It's a nice toy

Colleen: The media could not be loaded. My cats were interested at first, but it's not very sensitive to motion. As you can see in the video, my cat played with its tail and nudged it around, but it took more force to get it going. Once it starts moving it only lasts a couple of seconds before it stops. The automatic sleep mode is nice because the batteries are like super large watch batteries, not something I had around the house. They do provide an extra battery too, which is nice. The size of the mouse is good. It doesn't fit under the fridge or stove or low furniture so it doesn't get stuck as often. It doesn't move too fast so when it bonks into things it isn't a loud bang that will bother you in the middle of the night, or upstairs/downstairs neighbors. One of my cats is very skiddish and she doesn't like most of the rolling cat toys that are fast and loud. This one didn't freak her out too bad, after a while she started playing with it too. I ended up returning it though because it got stuck in squeaking mode and wouldn't move or stop making noise.

Lesley Maria Steer: Had this for a week and the cat still wants to play with it. Arrived on time, came with battery already fitted and a spare battery. All good so far.

Jenn: Got this for my little man and he's often *very* picky about mechanical/interactive toys, but he took to this one right away, from the first second. Figured it out easily, and kept coming back to it over and over. It seems really well made, he likes to toss his toys around and tosses them high, so it's hit the floor hard a few times already and keeps right on going. He's very pleased and so am I!
Edited to add: As a side note, I'm pretty impressed with this toy. When it hits something, it stops, chirps, then reverses and turns so it can go forward when the cat taps/hits it again. I'm buying another as a backup in case the cat wrecks this one. It's been a couple weeks and he's still going strong. It's a great item at a good price point.
My only complaint/suggestion and the ONLY reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is, I need to be able to take the bottom off, or at least make a little door to access the wheels/axle to clear hair off because I have long hair, plus the cat's hair, and it's *extremely* difficult to get wrapped hair off the thing so it can keep moving, because I can't open it at all.
Update: It's been over a year (Feb 2023) and the mouse is still kicking....

John: When looking for a toy your cat will play with is difficult to say the least. When I received this little mouse I opened it an turned it on. As soon as it touched the floor it took off, with the cat in hot pursuit. Some how it survived the attack & when back on the ground, off it went again. So far, its still survived. The battery lasted about 2 weeks using a 2450 coin battery & it comes with one spare battery. The cat loves it. The only issue is operating on carpet, goes slow or stops. Doesn't fight back.
