Maureen C Flak: I'm deducting a half star for step one of the assembly instructions. Putting the legs on the TV was difficult. I had to widen the holes in the legs so the screws would fit through so they can screw into the body of the TV. I did this by forcing them though the back side and then backing them out. I suppose I could have drilled them out, too. Then I had to use a magnetic screwdriver to hold the screw until it could be fitted to the hole. The legs are designed so that there is not a person on the planet that has fingers skinny enough to fit the screw into the hole.

So much for the major negative.

Setup went as it should have. one nice feature is that login credentials are shown in clear text by default. Be patient with the software updates. You'll get there.

The menus are simple enough to navigate and I had no issue downloading and installing new apps. Another nice feature was that I could move the apps for which I have subscriptions to the front of the list.

I registered the TV with my wife's account on Amazon. This made the default name Maureen's TV 2. and I can't change that. It's a minor annoyance. I really want the name "Dan's Man Cave." :)

I...

James C Young: We purchased a Sony Bravia from Best Buy in like 2003 when these Television started becoming popular and it was really expensive. I think it was over the $3,000 price range and it lasted for longer than it’s life expectancy. Several internet reviews of the model of Sony Bravia we purchased rated the life expectancy somewhere around the 10yr to 15yr range. Well, we have watched ours for several years longer and it was a very good television. Personally, I think Sony use to make really good products for the mainstream market, but now I’m not exactly impressed with their products anymore. Our Sony Bravia stayed on more than off and it started to act up in late July just when we were considering buying a new 4K Television and new Surround Sound Equipment and High Resolution 7.2.1 audio equipment for our den. It was almost like our old faithful Sony was listening to our plans and threw a monkey wrench into them. We also had purchased our dream SUV in the color and options we had spent the first part of the year looking everywhere for and it got rear ended. Then when we thought things couldn’t get any worse, we found out that my husband has Melanoma. Everything we didn’t...
