jan: I was having a hard time to get my toddler to eat her veggies, and now I can mix veggies and fruits together, Now she eats her fruits and veggies within minutes because she gets to feed herself and she doesn't see it as baby food.
the stand is the hardest part to clean and that's just because its awkward to clean in smaller sinks.

Love life: I had tons of leftover jars of baby food that my 11month old son just refuses to eat, because he'd have to use a spoon and it takes too long. Recently, we tried the food pouches again to see if that worked better during snack time. I didn't buy any reusable pouches and just bought the one-time, disposable ones from the grocery store to see if he'd like them. He loves them! I instantly went on a hunt for reusable pouches and found this. It has been a game changer at snack time. I can grab one of his favorite food jars and pop one in a pouch or pour in a homemade puree and the outcome is the same. He devours them and can eat on his own, which his little independent self loves. The setup is really easy to put together. The pusher thing can be a little tricky to push down with certain foods and does not get the last tiny little bit in the tube, but not enough to notice really. The only other thing I notice is I may have to make a small tug to get the pouch out, which can be tricky with the small amount of food at the tip of the pouch.

I did purchase some reusable bags separately through another seller that I have yet to use. The bags included in this set are not reusable...

Nichol: There was one review about not being able to make very thick smoothies and that has not been my experience at all. I did a lot of research of the reusable ones vs these one time use ones and it just didn't seem like the easy or reusable was quite there yet. We don't use these all the time but for long outing days I pull from the freezer and have a yummy, healthy, and fresh snack I can trust for my little.

Katy: This item makes packaging your home-made food so much easier, it is nice to find a product that makes it easier to use home-made food rather then shop brought. The pouches are very good sized, even for the hungrier baby, and don't look too garish compared to other products. Being able to fill three pouches at once is good, meaning if you cook in batches you can squeeze different recipes without having to wash the holders multiple times.

It is easy to clean with all parts coming apart quickly, you do need to find the right cleaning tool to clean the bottom of the holders where they narrow as food can get stuck and normal sponges can't quite reach there. The press has a tight fit so you don't need to worry about food coming out of the side.

The reason I marked the product down is that the holder only actually sits in place after you have screwed a pouch to it, otherwise it just balances on the top meaning it can topple easily and cause a mess. Other then that a great accessory for those looking to make their food fresh.
