2 Birds: These are a fine enough version of a Koosh Ball, but like other reviewers have stated, they have a terrible chemical smell. I've left these on our breezy patio for a few weeks and the smell is as strong as ever. We normally keep the summer toys in a storage bin, but I'm thinking these will stink up the others. Bummer.

James Clark: For the price, these are a fine alternative to the brand name. They are not as “full” as pictured—they look like they are missing about 1/3 of the fullness. If that doesn’t bother you, these would be a good choice.

vric: These are cute little stringy balls that are good to fiddle with. The ratings asked about stretch - I found little, but that wasn't something I was looking for. It asked about the smell. If I put it up to my face, I found it offensive, but I don't see the need to do that. My grandson said it smells fine. My biggest thing, personally, is that I thought it would have a larger, squishy center. It does not, but that's my error, not that of the manufacturer. All in all, it is a cute, stringy (rubber) ball that is good to fiddle with.
