Imperial Cat Neat 'n Tidy 28 Litter Sifting Liners - Keep Your Litter Box Clean and Odor-Free!

Nina’s Mom: Going back to my old brand…Save your money… The liners are way too big for a standard litter box, they would be better suited for a 2 foot by 3foot size litter box and the plastic is very thin (think like the produce bags from the grocery store that one can never open) They do NOT lay flat when placed inside the box so prime real estate for poo was automatically fore fitted. The bottom sheet of plastic for the liners was missing and the very first time I went to sift the litter the holes in the liner immediately stretched out and tore causing dirty litter to fall back into the clean litter into the litter box and this happened more than once. For reference I have ONE cat and the litter box is cleaned every 3-4 days or less so it’s not like I went 2 weeks and had several pounds of dirty litter that caused the CHEAP plastic to tear. I also buy high quality sifting litter that is lighter and easy to scoop or sift.

Wes J.: Have been using these sifters for over 6 years and have always loved them. One of the greatest benefits is that it takes such a short time to clean the boxes for our 11 cats.

But - the last three orders, the quality control on the product has gotten less. The bags start splitting in the middle and I have to go back to scooping vice sifting. The sifting holes on the bags are, IMO, too close to each other which allows the waste product to just fall through.

Sandra Blaker: Great product,really makes the least pleasant part of having a cat easy.Some people report having difficulty with the elastic holding the liners in place but I have only found that to be an issue now I'm down to the last few liners of my current batch and only where my cats tend to scratch as they go through motion of scratching to bury.Overall very happy,no stink and always a fresh clean box.Will be a repeat customer for sure.

LJay: I have used these liners exclusively for more than a year. I find these to be the cheapest liners for the amount. I have never had an issue with the rubber band breaking. I have popped myself a couple of times, ouch. I have only had one defective batch of liners where literally ever other liner was ripped to where I had to use two liners for every change. That, of course, caused me to blow through the liners in a few days, versus a month. I wrote the seller and they replied that they would look into it but I didn't hear anything after that. However, I would definitely recommend these liners to liner users.

When installing a new batch of liners I clean out their litter box holder and the litter pan. I then unfold the liners to separate the two solid liners from the stack of 28 sifting liners. I lay the solid liners in and fit them to the corners of the litter pan, I then fit the sifting liners in. Because its a stack of 28, they can have a mind of their own, although it doesn't take much muscle. After fitting them in, I pour in the litter. Once the litter is in, I fold the liner edges over the sides of the litter pan and secure them with the rubber band. I normally keep...

Allen: These are OKAY ONLY if you CAN'T FIND the Alfapet (pretty sure this is the company, I know it comes in a Blue Box) Kitty Cat 5 Count Sifting Bags with ELASTIC Sta-Put Technology bags in your GROCERY STORE. They are too expensive on the web.

Those bags have become so popular and are at such a reasonable price in stores, the only store in our area that carries them, the H.E.Bs (we live in Texas) cannot keep up with the demand (I also gathered that the company may be having some issues meeting the demand for making them, as they are the best and most reliable of all the litter bags on the market - I have pretty much bought everything that's ever come out).

That said, these bags have managed to work fairly well on my over sized litter box with hood (and without using that ridiculous and useless rubber band). If you are as desperate as I was, these are your best bet. THE TRICK is to NOT SEPARATE the BAGGIES when you INSTALL THEM. You may LOOSEN the FIRST ONE, but DO NOT BY ANY MEANS BREAK THE OTHERS UP. Separate them as you go, it will make your life a whole lot easier.

RekTek: I'm really not a big fan of cleaning out the litter box. It's a chore that my wife usually does. When my wife became pregnant, that job was temporarily passed to me. After a few weeks of doing it the old fashioned way, I found these liners online and decided to give them a try. Installation was pretty easy. I decided to start with a brand new litter box and placed the liners inside and snugged the liners into the corners so that the liners would lay flat in the litter box. The bags came with a large rubber band to hold them down, but the band broke within a few days. This did not prove to be a problem, as the bags stay in the box mostly due to the litter holding it down. When it comes time to change liners (typically 5-7 days for us) I simply peel the top liner away from the rest and lift upwards while using a gentle side to side motion to sift the good litter back into the box. The whole process takes about a minute, including adding a few scoops of fresh litter back into the box. Barely any smell and no mess! I couldn't be happier!
