Jessica: Really like them and comfortable. I am short (about 5 foot) so wish they were a little shorter but that’s a rare find. I really like them though!

Krystof: My opinion from the photos--so-called "boy shorts" are ironically a better cut for women. These are rather gawky for women. Whereas some men--who may not like the current fashion of impossibly baggy men's shorts--may find these extremely light, comfortable and appropriate. You can choose any color for the outside--while inside the jet black liner won't develop stains. Probably not suitable for all men. But can be an ideal solution for some who find baggy trunks or cramping briefs impractical, uncomfortable and ungainly. These might even work better than anything else for everyday undies. If so, never again get caught without what passes for a proper swimsuit or shorts in sweltering weather or if trapped in a motel.

Diane A: I pretty much hate working out in shorts, so I bought these to be more of a lounge short. Soffe shorts fit terribly, but I wanted something with a similar casual feel. These are perfect for that. They’re a really comfortable athletic fabric and they have a pretty helpful lining. I have to say, the lining is a bit of an awkward fit. I tend to wear these shorts without underwear because of the lining, but the lining is a bit too oversized to replace underwear. I mean, I do it anyway, but it could fit better. It’s nice that it’s there so I don’t have to worry about flashing my junk all around. I’ve worn these for a variety of activities, ranging from a bathing suit cover up to a mud filled buggy ride. In all uses, they’ve been comfortable, held up well, and come clean in the wash. I would say that if I were to exercise in them, they would be great for that as well.
The sizing is a bit strange. I typically wear a small in most bottoms, but I got these in a medium. I’m sure I could size down, but if I did I think the waist band would be a bit too tight. I’m not mad at the slightly over-sized fit of the bottoms since that’s how I wanted to wear them, but the...

L. Thames: 1 star down only due to sending me the wrong size! Ordered large, received medium. Medium is my usual athletic short size, so I wanted to size up based on the reviews suggestions. They are accurate! Due to the awesome stretch they are not uncomfortable at all, but still a bit snug for long runs or public wear. I have found myself wearing them around the house quite often. LOVE the material. If I decide to chance it again, I will definitely shoot for a large next time so I can wear them for more activities! I'm 5'2, 136 lb, athletic build.

Laura Riley: Love these shorts! I wear them while running and at the gym. I have three different colors. I do get chafed when I run in the gray ones. Not sure what that is about.
