After our older dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis, we had to stop dry dog food and give her something softer. Iams for aging dogs was just perfect! She loved it and it gave her the nutrients she needed. Her Irish Setter coat became beautiful shortly after being put on this dog food. I do highly recommend this for aging dogs!

Scooty:
The label "with slow cooked chicken and rice in sauce". I expected it to be like a stew. However, there is no sauce when you open the can -- it evidentially has all been cooked into the chicken and rice. The good thing about that is my dog doesn't care one bit about the label - she actually ate it! (for about a week and now it's on the reject list too). Note to shipper: the package arrived after going to war on the way. It was so beat up that one can of dog food was opened by having the lid pushed down into the can. You may want to change shippers.

My 14 year old chihuahua is so picky, and this is one of the few foods she likes! She had to switch to soft food after losing most of her teeth. This one smells good and I'd almost taste it. lol

I like the ease of ordering and delivery. I don't have to hunt and struggle at local stores to find the brand and flavor and the cost is much higher per can when purchased this way. My dog is older now and is picky about his food. Ever since I started using IAMS and this particular flavor, he is trying to eat the food before i can get it out of the can. I will continue to use this brand, quality is excellent.
