Amazon Customer: I got very fed up with the bottom 12" of sleeping bag which was just empty and cold. The short version I bought is perfect for me as I'm only 5'6" tall and 65kg and now of course it doesn't touch the tent wall and get all wet either...

Justyna: I highly recommend this sleeping bag. My daughter used it for her DofE expedition and she was THE ONLY ONE GIRL WHO WAS NOT COLD AT NIGHT! While others complained in the morning after having horrible, cold and sleepless nights, my daughter was the only one who had cosy, snuggly and very warm nights in the tent during the expedition. She also used it on holidays by the lake and the result was the same. Brilliant!! I am going to buy the same one for my son for his coming up DofE trip. It is easy to fold and carry with you as the package is tiny and very light, which is important when you have 85 litres back pack on your bag and you have to carry other stuff for hours in the middle of forest sometimes in the rain. Thank you!

ER: Súper ligero y compacto, pensé que me iba a agobiar más dentro de él pero permite movilidad

Kindle Customer: To be honest would not trust this bag at -9
Seems to be very thin padding in places.

Viper: Worked well for a 2 day ruck. Night temps were not too cold around 50F but quite windy around 25mph winds with stronger gusts. The insulation is great and didn't let the wind chill get to my body. I will say the compression sack it comes with is pretty awful it does an ok job if you have a lot of space to spare but if you're rucking/backpacking the more compressed down the better (it makes it smaller and far easier to organize things instead of just stuffing everything to make it fit). That being said a proper 12L compression sack is like 16 bucks and will pack this sleeping bag down about 2X smaller than the provided compression sack. I was a bit skeptical on how well this sleeping bag would compress down considering it is a mixed fill with down and a synthetic material, it seems the synthetics are always thicker and heavier to achieve the same warmth rating but this one packed down better than my friends REI 100% down filled sleeping bag (partly because of the compression sack i used *M-TAC 12L SIZE M*). The outer material is lightweight but pretty sturdy, i move a lot when i sleep and sometimes ended up off of the sleeping pad on the rocks or sticks but didn't tear or...

IRL714: I bought this for a 7-day trek in Philmont Scout Ranch. It performed spectacularly! It was warm enough for cold rainy nights and comfortable to lay on when the temps were in the 80s. It's not the smallest/lightest bag out there, but for the price it was light enough for me. I got the small/short size; I'm 5'2" with a slim build. It is roomy enough to have a little space to move. The zipper and cable work great to snuggle in. The cell phone pocket.... not so much - I think it's in an odd place. When lying supine, it put the phone right on my chest. I'd rather have it on the side, maybe by the zipper, but it's not a deal-breaker. Great bag; oh, and it's my family's second Hyke&Byke bag, as my son has the one that works on a hammock- he's had it a few years for Boy Scout trips and loves it!

Richard Baker: Firstly, the Quandary Sleeping Bag was delivered within 24 hours from ordering - Really impressed.
Secondly - how did it perform? On Saturday night (27th Feb) I camped onto of the highest Mountain in the Glens of Antrim (Northern Ireland). The temp dropped below 0 Deg C. I intended to take a fleece sleeping bag liner, just in case it got too cold, but I didn't need it. I am 6'2" and I opted for a long. The Long Quandary is 'roomy', but whilst I could have fitted a Regular size, the Long felt right. . As for performance, I am really impressed. I started the night wearing thermals, but within an hour they were off. The zip worked without snagging, the shoulder baffles kept my body warm and the material is very comfortable. I was so warm I was surprised to see ice on the tent in the morning. For 3+ season camping, I would recommend the Quandary, however, this is following one use.

Brian Baker: I have been putting off purchasing one of these bags. I finally got around to purchasing one, and overall I am going to say, this bag is very nice. This is the regular sized bag. I purchased one for me, and one for my son.
Super light weight.
Compresses down very small
Very comfortable
Not for sure if this bag would keep me warm at 15 degrees, but, I probably will never test it at that temperature, as I do not winter camp. Usually I only camp starting mid spring into mid fall. So the lowest temps that I will be using this bag will probably be an occasional mid 30's. I do sleep cold, so that is why I purchased the 15 degree bag vs. a 30 degree bag.
I have only used it once so far, and after a few outings, I will update the review if needed. The one time I used it, I slept good in it. Temps got down to 48 or 50, and I stayed warm in it. I am a side sleeper, and at one point I did wake up with my lower back and butt a little chilly, but that is because I was sleeping with my knees drawn up some, and had compressed the sleeping bag and created a cold spot. I had a top quilt with me, and once I threw that over me, I slept fine.
Zipper functions great and the foot box...

Josh Hughey: I was a little hesitant to buy this bag as I didn't know anything about the brand. My initial impression is that it's a good bag. It's late in the year for camping in my area, so the bag was tested on my back patio. It was 27F out and my patio is cement. The bag kept me perfectly comfortable (I get cold easily). I could feel some cold through the bag on my hip when lying on my side, but I believe that says more about my pad than the bag. I only wore a thin pair of pajama pants and a t-shirt and stayed comfortable. There was snow on the ground ~5 feet from me and my breath came out in huge clouds, so I would say the bag exceeded my expectations for warmth.

It is a bit like sleeping in a large black garbage bag, but it's not as noisy as expected. The outside material seems very thin so I cannot speak to it's durability. I didn't notice any smells from the duck down as some have experienced. However, as others pointed out, the zipper is a little difficult and the reason I knocked off one star. For my use it's not a problem, but if you are going to be using the bag frequently keep that in mind. The bag stuffed easily back in its bag and the compression sack worked great. Bag is...

Nathan Whelan: I am really happy with this sleeping bag. It costs much less than major competitor brands, and supports small businesses!

I bough this bag to take on a recent trip to Zion national park and loved it. The weather got down to around 35 degrees and I slept it an t shirt and running shorts.

The weekend after I took it backpacking in Yosemite the weather where we camped was about 27-30 degrees at night. I slept fine, nice and warm.

The construction is good, nice heafty zippers and plush comfy fabric. It definitely has a bit of a plasic sort of feel to it, it’s not brushed with any super soft lining, but it’s comfortable none the less.

Warm light and comfortable, I have 2 other bags that I LOVE for summer camping and this was a great snag for my few “colder” trips I take every year.
