Beitasitmay12: This product does what it specified it would. I use it in construction and when required by the wife, around the house.

Only drawback so far is attempting to buy an additional battery. Currently, out of stock on Amazon and appears to be unlisted on vendor site at all. If you can restrict use to six to eight hours, buy it now, it is a winner.

Scott Watson: Ordered awhile ago in advance for a project further down the line. When I recieved it, I tested it, and it did what it said it would do. But finally, just cracked it open to put it to the test. Using it for floor joists and to lay some floor. Found some other uses as well now that I really got to play with it. It exceeds my expectations. The laser is very accurate. Its very bright, easy to see. The battery keeps a charge practically all day. And the case is very nice, tight, and keeps it very safe. It's definitely NOT cheaply made. It's heavy, solid, and tough. One of the best tools I own now. If your on the fence about buying it, don't be. It's very worth it. It even competes with some of the others in Home Depot and Lowes for around $500. And the quality is not as good as the Huepar.

tom: first day working with it

- easy to use without reading the manual.
- I like the rechargeable lithium or field replaceable quantity for double a batteries.
- has a nice weight to it giving the feel of quality IE not a hollow plastic shell.
- in bright summer desert noon Sun I'm getting about 50 yards with the optional la ser detector.
- visible laser line in shadows out to about 20 ft or so.

I'm sure it says that in the manual which I did not read but for those that got confused on the auto level:

the side switch needs to be "on" for the pendulum auto level to work. with pulse mode off and the pendulum 'on' the laser level line will be solid and not flashing (unless out of the 4 degrees limit, rapid flashing.)

with the pendulum "off" there is a single flash of the laser line every 3 seconds or so, which tells you the auto level is off.

bearhutchu: Overall this laser level is good.
pros: It has a relatively robust build. It cast 360° and three different planes. it comes with a nice case and has the option of both lithium-ion and standard double a batteries. Pretty good price for the performance.
cons: Overall size is a bit large. The buttons are not straightforward and do not allow for call options. Basically, you have one button that Cycles through a number of combinations to engage one two or all three planes. I'd rather there be isolated buttons for each plane.

Jonathan A. Crockett: Like many people, I read a lot of reviews for self-leveling laser levels before deciding on Huepar, ultimately making my decision based on the excellent reviews and great price. I am so happy with this decision! This Huepar laser level seems solid - good quality build and quality materials. I love that it comes with a hard case with foam insert to keep the laser level protected. A day after the laser level arrived, I put it to the test for marking ceiling locations for installing rows of led lights. This laser level gave me perfect lines on the ceiling so I could mark the locations for the light installations. The unit is very easy to operate - it took 2-3 minutes to read the manual, and then it was easy to use. I love that it can be used with the provided Lithium Ion battery, the AA batteries, or plugged in. I love that it has 3 planes of highly visible green laser light. I'm now thinking of all the ways that I can use this in my life of DIY projects, and I can't wait to use it again for the next project! Thank you Huepar for making an affordable, high-quality self-leveling laser level!
