nettie: I purchased a glass press. It shattered while washing it after 2 weeks. This one’s perfect very sturdy, small, enough for one cup of coffee. Does the job.

Vi: I love this stainless steel french press! I often find myself getting side tracked after I've started a fresh pot of coffee, and by the time I remember I'm faced with making a cold coffee beverage or having to water down my cup to reheat it (we do NOT own a microwave, so nuking it is not an option), or drinking luke warm coffee ::shudder:: That's a thing of the past with this awesome press! It can keep coffee warm for up to 2 hours. The next best thing about this press is no more rusted in place glass beakers or broken beakers! Either situation is frustrating and I've dealt with both more than once. No more worries with a stainless steel press! I love the spoon that comes with it. It says for every 4 oz of water, you need one spoon of coffee. So for the 20 oz version that I purchased, I need 5 spoons of coffee. Makes a nice strong cup of coffee.

Ness: This press works fine, and has nothing wrong with it; however, the representation in the picture is MISLEADING. It does say the size in the description and I admit I overlooked it probably based on the image of the picture of the girl with the cup of coffee and the french press. The french press in that picture is NOT the one you'll purchase if you buy this product. This is a 12 oz french press and if you're looking to make one cup of coffee or tea at a time works perfectly, but dang its VERY VERY TINY!!!

Amazon Customer: This is a great French press. We bought it for our RV and it is just perfect. We don't have to haul a coffee maker with us and we don't have to worry about it breaking. Would highly recommend. I only have it a 4 star because it's pictured with a spoon, but that does not come with it. Not a huge deal
