Cliente Amazon: Per una finestra 450 prima ho preso 500, ma era troppo troppo grande. Poi ho cambiato con una da 400 ed era perfetta in termini di dimensioni. Il velcro per attaccare al telaio è molto forte, quindi buono. Il problema più grande sono gli angoli: essendo una guarnizione che con una misura si deve adeguare a varie misure di finestre, gli angoli spesso non combaciano quindi bisogna o arricciare la guarnizione o piegarla negli angoli per aderire bene (spiegato come nelle istruzioni). Chiaramente questo non garantisce una adesione perfetta e un minimo di spiffero c'è. Questo comunque è abbastanza trascurabile, l'aria calda ci mette un po' per rientrare, con le giornate più calde a luglio potevo spegnere il pinguino per un'oretta minimo prima di risentire il caldo e bisogno di accenderlo. Tutto sommato buon prodotto, non penso di togliere il velcro dal telaio quando finisco di usarla quest'anno perché ho paura che poi non si riattacca più, non so se si possa comprare solo velcro della stessa azienda.

Will: It worked and can seal the window effectively. But quite difficult to install it and we spent almost an hour to fix it firmly on the window.

Also I think it is a bit too expensive

M: Al poner el equipo de aire portátil en la venta se perdía mucho por el hueco ya que no se puede cerrar la venta, con este producto se minimiza la perdida al cerrar ese hueco.

En mi caso uno de los lados no se queda fijo en la ventana pero la perdida es muy poca. Tiene una cremallera para poder sacar el tubo por la venta.

No es difícil de montar, pero hay que pegar unos velcros en la ventana que visualmente no quedan muy bien.

Nibro: Vorweg: Die Fensterabdichtung erfüllt ihren Zweck. Es ist eine Notlösung für mobile Klimageräte und falls keine andere effiziente Einrichtung für die warme Abluft der Klimaanlage genutzt werden kann. Die Abdichtung um das Rohr herum gestaltet sich schwierig, aber eine 100%ige Abdichtung ist hiermit sowieso utopisch.

Nach 2 Jahren hat sich das Klebeband leider etwas gelöst und auch die Abdichtung selbst sah trotz Waschgang nicht mehr appetitlich aus, weshalb ich das Produkt nachbestellt habe. Das Entfernen der Klebereste ist ein reiner Kraftakt. Nur mit starker Chemie bekommt man den Fensterrahmen einigermaßen sauber. Der Zeitaufwand dafür beträgt mehrere Stunden, wenn nicht einen kompletten Tag und macht keinen Spaß (ich empfehle einen extra Klebereste-Entferner, Brennspiritus reicht nicht). Das sollte man vor einem möglichen Umzug o.ä. unbedingt bedenken.

4 Sterne vergebe ich dennoch, denn stärker wurde ich die Klebestreifen absolut nicht machen und es scheint wenige Alternativen zu geben.

Marie: J'ai acheté ce produit sans aucune conviction, je voulais rafraîchir et éviter que les chatons sortent de la maison. Une collègue m'en avait parlé (pas forcément cette marque). Après enquête c'est l'un des top 3 de calfeutrage. Je trouve facile en installation et instructions bien clairs. Aucune entrée d'air chaud. A permis de chuter de 3 à 4 degrés le salon pendant la canicule. Pour nous un luxe !
Petits hics
Je trouve pas assez large et ne permet pas une grande ouverture de la porte. Notamment quand on passe pour fermer le volet. Sinon il faut l'ouvrir totalement, pour une porte fenêtre toute une logistique (monter sur une chaise), donc pas pratique.
2eme : fermeture de porte difficile, même si on l'ouvre totalement une partie reste dans l'encadrement et coince la fermeture, et des micros trous se forment...

RaquelRaquel: First off the price is what lead me to make the purchase because compared to others it’s affordable. We needed something to keep the cold air in and not be wasting energy for nothing. Secondly, I had to install this in 90+ degree weather so I was drenched in sweat by the time I was done, but that was my fault for picking the hottest day of the week. Anyways, took me about an hour & 1/2 to final install the damn thing. The thing I struggled with was the outside part of the window because it is so narrow and I was trying to keep the Velcro from sticking to the sides where the paint would’ve came out once uninstalled. (I am a renter and didn’t want to mess up the walls.) however, once I figured out I had the straight part on the outside of the window instead of on the part that opens, all was good! Another thing that was frustrating was that I couldn’t get the window to open to put the hose through because the plastic part, that looks like an accordion, didn’t seem big enough for my window. This wasn’t the case because once I moved the Velcro down a bit I had excess on the top of part. All in all the installation was a bit difficult, but it’s working good so far!

AliceAlice: Our HVAC broke down and I happed to have a portable A/C unit, but I didn't want to go through all the trouble of removing the window and building some kind of custom insert. My entire house has these wind-out casement windows so I didn't have a lot of options. This product worked great and it only took me about 20 minutes to get it installed (oh, and yes I can still close and lock the window if I want to - I just have to remove the hose/vent). Anyway I wanted to post pictures because I don't see a lot of pictures of windows that open outward and wanted people to know that it works just fine with this style window.

Amazon ShopperAmazon Shopper: Our HVAC system went out in 90+ degree temps. The part is on back order indefinitely. We needed something quickly until we figure out next steps. So, we bought 2 portable AC units. Initially, we had cardboard around the hose. It left huge gaps and did not work well since we have crank windows. This product is awesome in how well it works! The Velcro really helps to seal everything to keep out bugs and the elements. The zipper for the hose fits nice and snug. The instructions were not that easy to follow, but when I laid everything out, it made sense.

EricWitDaBigCock: EDIT: While my review still stands, the customer service team did reach out and offer me a full refund for the trouble I have had with the product. I think that is acceptable and have decided to change my rating from a 1 star to a 3 star, taking into consideration the resolution. While I still will need to find a new solution for my AC, I at least am not out any money from this. Thank you HOMEE for actually caring about your customers! I wish the product had worked better for me and my window.

I ordered this product a few months ago for my outward opening crank window. It seemed excellent at first and I was very happy being able to cool off my room, I have to leave the door shut many days which leads to very high temperatures and humidity. After maybe a month, the adhesive on the velcro tape essentially melted from the heat coming out of the exhaust hose. I was able to stick it back down, but this is a temporary fix and lasts only a couple days at best. The heat coming from the exhaust hose consistently melts the adhesive enough to pop open a large corner of the seal, rendering the product useless until I realize my room isn't cooling off and am able to fix it.

Amazon Customer: We bought a new house, immediately moved in and a month later had our first baby. On top of all this commotion the water heater broke and flooded the house. Needless to say we were stressed as was our piggy bank. Flash forward and the weather starts heating up. We knew this house had no air conditioning and not a single ceiling fan in sight but the casement windows were a surprise. We rushed to find a solution to utilize our standing air conditioning and keep our baby cool. This product did just that! Takes a moment to read the directions and conceptualize the application especially for us since our windows crank out but once we figured it out, it worked perfectly. I was worried about a complete seal especially with the rain but we've had some major thunderstorms lately and there's been no issue whatsoever. We have since hired a company to install wall split units but until then this product saved us time, money, and stress. Thank you!
