Brian Carvell: I read her first book and this is better - shows her struggles with negative forces in a united nations run by groups of inept and corupt politicial forces only concerned with their own position and pockets. As an Australian I dispair of some of the loud poliical figures which abound in the US who know nothing about anything such as socialism free markets and capitalism.Some elected members in Washington such as Omar and AOC give us the impreession americans are stupid.The ignorant leftist media here enforces the idea .However with the rise of women like Stephanik (who the media here politely ignores ) and the work of women like Nicki Haley we are pleased to see there is hope for the Great America that Trump is building. Contrary to what you are told there is plenty of Aussies who believe a powerful and economically successful US is good for us as well. Pseudo D: With All Due Respect is actually Nikki Haley's second book, the first being Can't Is Not An Option
from 2012 as governor of South Carolina. Since then, the tea party has given way to Trumpism,
a populist and nationalist approach to the right. As Tim Alberta said in American Carnage, Trump
"out-Cruz'd Cruz". During that time, Haley has become the likely leader of conservatism in the post-Trump
era. It will be Haley vs. Pence, since everybody else ran in 2016 and lost to Trump. But this book shows that
the post-Trump GOP will still be the Trump GOP, whether the leader is Haley or Pence. There are some differences in emphasis between her and the Vice President, but not much.

Some of the material repeats the autobiography of the first book, with the author being the daughter
of Indian immigrants in the rural South. But it soon goes into the church shooting in South Carolina,
with a vivid account of the state senator who was among those killed. President Obama did a great
job as he often did at those events, but was less effective in his personal contact with Gov. Haley, and
