VQdriver: I decided against using this “special top secret” expensive fluid in a 2019 Acura MDX for the following reasons: The early SH-AWD rear diffs used Honda ATF Z-1. It’s close to a traditional ATF viscosity. When they switched to the THINNER and probably less protective DW-1 spec ATF they developed the DPSF to replace the ATF in the rear diff. I came up on 2 forum posts of Redline ATF being used intermittently between DPSF in the rear differential with good results.
That being said I decided to use RAT540’s highest ranked protecting ATF and that is MOBIL1 Synthetic ATF Multi Vehicle Formula in both the 9sp ZF transmission and the SH-AWD rear differential (see my review of the Mobil1 Synthetic ATF Multi Vehicle Formula here on Amazon). The car runs just the same with no reduction in fuel economy! Food for thought. Don’t believe that OEM is the greatest protecting oil. They probably are barely good enough to protect the drivetrain and on top of that they’re just a money grab for the car makers. Might as well use Supertech to match “OEM” protection levels. This particular Mobil1 is above and beyond. Engine oil is a different story lol…

Steve: Used this in my 2003 Honda CR-V. I was not having any issues but purchased the car recently and didn’t know when it was changed last. My only complaint was that my car uses 1.1 quart and these bottles are sold by the quart therefore I needed to buy 2 quarts.
