Darryl F: he knows the click

Jessica Earle: These clickers are pretty cheap. They will click a couple times and then not click, and u have to press the button 40-50times before u get a click out of them again. Don't recommend.

Rebecca: Cheaply made but does the job. The click is very loud. It frightened my cat as I was training her.

David C. Renar: These work great! I bought them to train our pups to come. We live in the country and wanted a way to get their attention and have them come without me yelling every time. I started to train them by repeatedly clicking and then giving the pups a treat. Then I would wait for them to wander away and I'd click ( and call if necessary) and then treat and praise them when they came. Now I can simply click and they come running if they are within earshot, (which they usually hear from anywhere on our property. I've since added a whistle to the training to call them from a distance.

SoPA: High quality, loud clicker that's comfortable in the hand and convenient to use, with the the wrist band. It's loud, so works really well when training around a lot of noise distractions. However, in a quiet environment, with a dog that startles easily, it can be a bit too loud for that application. I wouldn't call that a complaint; rather, it's something to keep in mind.

KLaverty: Fits nicely in your hand and easily makes a distinct sound. My only complaint was that one of the bracelets broke right away. The one still intact works great, and is very comfortable and easy to use with a leash. These are fairly loud- my dog was afraid of it inside but responded well to training outside so I think we'll be okay.

Margaret: I have a 14 year old Shih Tzu who lost most her hearing during her 13th year. She can still hear a few things, but not human voices. I can also walk up right behind her and she has no clue that I'm there. Most of her commands and our communications now depend on visual cues using my hands. If I touch her to wake her from a nap, it startles her and I don't want to do that. She can hear this clicker from a few feet away and it's how I wake her up. It doesn't seem to scare her. I click it 2 or 3 times and she definitely hears it. She will lift her head and lazily looks at me through sleepy eyes. Then I can give her hand signals so she knows what needs to be done - like clapping my hands to go outside before I leave the house on errands. She usually doesn't hear the clapping sound, but she understands my hand motions. This clicker has been a great help in my learning how to deal with a mostly-deaf dog which I've never had to do before.
