Desiree Alexander: I bought this for my dog who occasionally get UTI's. I don't know about the flavor, however, she do not seem to have any issues with it and it seems to help with her UTI.

Melinda E: My 14 y/o male Shih Tzu started peeing in the house willy nilly. I fussed, he peed. I put him in his kennel to avoid messes all over the house, he whined and hated it. Still peed. I tried another dropper for bladder support with cranberries and other natural stuff. And doggy diapers. After a week he still needed the diapers and I noticed he was straining and diapers had small amount of blood. Due to the covid pandemic, money is tight and I want to do everything possible to avoid a big ass vet bill while not leaving my Stanli to suffer. Tried tinkle tonic, 3 full dropper squirts a day for 3 days. His diaper is completely full of urine now- meaning he’s able to empty his bladder. That only took 1 day. On the 3rd day of high dosing he passed 2 stones in his diaper and is feeling frisky again. And he loves the taste of it, no complaints, no head holding. His sees the bottle, wags tail furiously, and opens his mouth with tongue extended. It’s like a treat for him. Anyway, going to closely monitor him for the next couple of days to make sure he’s able to empty his bladder fully and has no blood traces in urine. Also barley hops supposedly work great too. I’ll finish his...

Lucille: My 9 year old spayed bitch American bulldog started straining to wee and passing bloodclots. After numerous vet visits over 3 months I bought this while waiting for results and prescriptions and after one day of use she started to pee and not strain to wee. I was told she either had an inflammation of the bladder or neoplasia. It would cost me £3k to find out which (the procedures would have been detrimental to her health in any case at her age). She has 1ml tinkle tonic twice a day, together with a course of antibiotics and royal canin diet and she no longer strains to pee but goes everytime. I will continue to use tinkle tonic after her course of antibiotics as it may not be the only cure but it certainly aided her in those few days waiting for other medication. I will also purchase the tonic for joints as this one was so good!!

Coach Stu and Jacq: My cat was making a huge mess with litter outside his box and I had no idea why. I started paying more attention to his bathroom habits, and he was entering and leaving his catbox up to 10 times a day. Come to find out, he wasn't urinating a full bladder's worth of urine for a few days. So, I called the vet and they wanted to do a urinalysis on him. He's never had any issues before and he's less than 4 years old. I bought Animal Essentials Apawthecary "Tinkle Tonic" via rush shipping because I wanted to try it before I took him to the vet. I gave it to him twice by direct method (.25 mL each time, squirt in the mouth) and he was urinating at least half a bladder's worth the very next day. I took him to the vet this day, and they couldn't get him to urinate for a sample, or extract it by needle. They said his bladder wasn't full, yet when I picked him up, they had a tissue in his carrier and it was soaked in urine. They prescribed a Glucosamine / Chondroitin complex (Dasuquin feline), which the vet says helps with urinary function. They charged me $32 for a 84 capsule bottle. By the second day it was nearly 2/3 a bladder's worth that he was urinating, and by day 3 he was back to...

Dancing Quill: The reason I bought this is because I have a male cat who gets urinary blockage, and sees his vet almost monthly on an emergent basis, and has three other vet prescribed medications for the issue. I bought the tinkle tonic as a supplement to promote easier urination, but not as a replacement for any of his prescribed medication, and these decisions should always be discussed with your pet's veterinarian.
Let's get the cons out of the way first. The taste is terrible apparently. My cat who loves treats, dry food, wet food, and tries to eat sticks, rubber bands, pennies, plastic and any other thing you try to hide from him, audibly GAGS when I give this to him. He's been on it about a week, 2x/day , and yesterday was the first day I noticed he didn't gag from it. The taste must be pretty bad. Since he gets it twice a day, I always hold it in front of him for a moment before I give it to him so he can smell it and kind of brace himself for the taste.
On the flip side, using this twice a day for my cat, by day 4, I noticed the volume and frequency of his urination has easily doubled. He's also awake more often and playing a lot more, too. He also licks his nether region...
