Kathleen: The action and chaos was pretty good. I feel for Ava and how she has struggled. I do hope that she gets back home and ready to be happy and be free of the curse.

desham: I wasn't sure I would like this book, but I couldn't put it down.
Some of the names were familiar, I read a little bit of mythology when I was in high school. Now I can't wait for the next one!

C. Alcala: What a fun read. I plowed through the first three books and will download the fourth after posting this review. The action and the twists kept me awake just to find out and yet again we are almost there and no ooo ooo will Ava succeed? Is she stuck? her boys are they going to destroy each other?

L&S Platownslia: Another marvellous episode in Ava's story, with so many questions answered. But will it be enough, to answer those questions?
The history is, as always, impeccably researched (even if there are some errors in the written Italian). I am a huge fan and can't wait to see what happens next!

Kindle Customer: While it seems silly to some. Books that are in a series like this I tend to wait until the end to review them. I want to give the story in it's entirety it's justice and the attention it deserves.
This series is amazing, I really can't say it enough. I came upon it by chance, and reading the synopsis made look at it and go hrmmm really. As I began reading the protagonist even though she and I are different sexes I felt a kinship toward. Hitting midlife myself and experiencing some of the same things she was going through in life made me become even more attached. Showing up on the shores of Aradia I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought perhaps nonna was a tad batty. However I felt the old world charm that the main character felt through the authors writing.
I refuse to give spoilers to this series, as I will take this review back and copy it over the other books. I will say the author paints a vivid picture not only of character interaction, but also scenery. She does an amazing job of world building that blends with the current world we know that makes the tale seamless. The only, and I do mean only critique I have for this series is it's classification as Women's...

LaVonna A: I honestly did not know if I was going to like this series or not. It stretched my imagination, my expectations and my appetite for paranormal women's fiction. Go back and get yourself book one... Trust me, this is going to be worth it.

Unbiased and keepin' it 100: Right off the bat, four stars is very generous. At time I wasn’t sure where the author was going with this story or why she chose to spend time with certain characters and/or introduce new ones. It’s like watching a 90s RV show where the main characters only interact with the neighbor because they need advice but we still don’t know if this neighbor has kids or how long they’ve been friends or why they never appear at any of the parties or gatherings that take place in the main characters home.
Will I read the final book in this series? Yes, simply because I think the draw for me is the author’s twist on reinterpreting myths and historical figures to fit this supernatural narrative.
