Amazon Customer: This is a great portable yet secure piece of storage furniture for outdoors. We wanted something for cushions outside that wasn't a plastic shed costing hundreds of dollars, and this holds everything nicely and has kept it dry through several rain storms.

Other reviews noting how tight-fitting the vinyl is were very true. Getting the corners of the vinyl over the corners of the posts can be tricky, and the tip to do it on a hot day in the sun was a good one—it helped with the stretch a lot. However, we did have some stretching at one seam as a result. Not a huge deal, and did not tear so it doesn't affect weatherproof-ness.

susan here: I bought this 3 years ago and overall liked it, I guess, just can't find anything better in the price range, remember having no problems assembling it, although it was coming apart, the velcro can be annoying. So I decided to get another one so I can easily store my truck cover outside. I DID get a warehouse item for $70, so maybe that was the problem, but it came rolled up and the connectors were all in one bag. I forgot they were different. The connectors ARE different so read those instructions. The poles had numbers in white stickers on them so I could easily identify them but the connectors' numbers are carved in black and you can't see them without shining a light on them and maybe a magnifying glass. Fortunately I put the right connectors on the base which was hard to insert. If you can, get somebody to help you. Then I started putting the connectors on the rest of it before I realized they were different and had to take them apart. Once I got that right I proceeded to the end, and yet another hurdle. I still had trouble getting the final pole in. I took it apart and tried and tried again until miraculously it snapped in. Then as I was pulling the material over the frame...

Diana Hsiang: Assembly was very difficult. The fabric cover for our product did not fit over the metal rods and connectors provided. We needed to file four of the metal poles in order for the fabric to stretch over top, which resulted in the fabric buckling on some sides. We tried to return the item initially, but the price of shipping it was too much. Totally not worth the effort.

Jessica LeismeisterJessica Leismeister: I set up, took down, re set up for the product to still not able to be sealed. I read reviews which it seemed good so I was patient and surprised. Sent lots of photos. They wanted me to repackage and return for a replacement. There was no way I would be able to get that into the box it came in again or find a big enough one to mail back. Which is why I took so many photos. Sad, as I was hopeful and tried to explain. Lost out on the money and the product.

Seadog: Almost a year later this container is doing very well. Full sun and weather it hasn't cracked or gotten hard. No leaks and is somewhat bug resistant. I haven't moved out from where it was originally place either. I upped the rating to four stars because it really has exceeded expectations. I would not move this as i think the frame muggy not handle it. If the company could offer a better frame it would be better. Still too expensive, IMO, unless the frame was aluminum or fiberglass.

I purchased this to temporarily store bulky, light camp gear that was going to sit next to my off road trailer. When I found it was basically pretty delicate vinyl, I was disappointed. I should have assembled it on something soft as I did it in the driveway and put some small holes in the corners from abrasion. The frame assembly has to be exactly right or the corners will not fit and you might tear a seam trying to get it to come together. I tried taking it apart again to get the corners to align, but still couldn't. Measured and it's off, not square (I know it's rectangle.) Good idea but bad execution. For the cost, I expected better materials. I would return it but I damaged it during...

Anonymous: Unfortunately the cover did not fit the frame on one side. It was too short. We were unable to complete putting it together.
I was trying to replace an outdoor storage container that had been discontinued so we were very disappointed that the Yard Dash didn’t work.
