Katie Kelly: I love Rachel and have followed her on Instagram for years and years and years. I love this book because it’s a perfect mix of recipes that are so tasty and delish and easy to make.

Ts: Do yourself a favor and buy this cookbook! The cookbook is visually stunning. The cover is so beautiful, the food photos are perfect, and the recipe font, format, styling is super cute!
The recipes themselves look fantastic! To be fair, I’ve only made 2 recipes so far. The sweet potato waffles and the salmon burgers. Both were easy to make and really delicious! I flipped through this cookbook at a bookstore before deciding to buy. As I did, every page had a recipe I wanted to try, with ingredients I already had, without being overly complex. The majority of these recipes are simple and easy, but not boring! I’m gluten and dairy free so I love that almost all the recipes have noted swaps for dairy free, if not dairy free already.
Admittedly I didn’t read through much of the authors commentary (sorry girl!), I went straight for the good stuff (pun intended) - the recipes.
It’s rare for me to find a cookbook that comprehensively has so many recipes I want to make. JTGS is already a top fav and I’m sure it will remain so for me. I follow Rachel on insta and absolutely love her recipes and vibe.
*Update: I still overall love this book but I’ve...

Sara Boyer: I've been following Rachel for at least a year now and all of her recipes look so yummy! I hadn't made any of her recipes until recently because a lot of the ingredients might not be what you would have in your typical pantry. This isn't a bad thing, as these ingredients are wholesome and healthy, but you probably need to purchase some things if you have a very conventional pantry like i did (think white sugar, brown sugar, white flour, etc.). I'm in the middle of trying to convert a lot of our pantry staples to be more organic with less artificial ingredients, refined sugars, and other things that are not so good for us so this is also the perfect time to finally start making some of these recipes! At the beginning of the cookbook there is a whole chapter about the ingredients that make up a lot of the recipes. You can find many of these ingredients for reasonable prices at Whole Foods (365 brand mostly) and online vendors like Thrive Market which I have recently started using. Like Rachel describes in this book, I have had a lot of trouble being a calorie counter in my life and I'd like to start ignoring nutrition contents and eating what feels good. Cant wait to try some more...

Cdnmom: I only recently discovered Rachel Mansfield and am so glad I did. Our shared love of peanut butter and dark chocolate, combined with the desire to find healthy twists and primarily consume wholesome foods, made this book an instant hit for not just me, but my entire family. It's rare that every recipe in a cookbook appeals to me, but I can honestly say that is the case with this one. I have already made a few, and also discovered her blog, and every recipe has been a hit. I especially love that most recipes involve the same ingredients, so a pantry overhaul is not at all needed, but substitutions are also often included.

Sbasil: I’ve been following Rachel Mansfield for a little while now, and have made many of her free recipes she shares on her IG/blog. I’ve loved every recipe, so when the cook book released I knew I had to snag.
So far I’ve made her maple bacon banana bread, her kale salad with creamy avocado dressing, Japanese sweet potato fries, and Sunday roasted chicken. Let’s just say I won’t ever go hungry or unsatisfied with this cook book around. My boyfriend, who isn’t into all the trendy wellness labels, even approves. His favorite is the gooey flourless brownies, which are so sinfully good. My favorite part of the book is that these recipes don’t ask for a bunch of ingredients you might only use one or two times. Easy, whole food recipes is what you’ll find throughout these chapters.
Another element Rachel adds is a whole grocery list and a section of what she keeps in her pantry, which I thought was super helpful, because sometimes I get overwhelmed with all the ingredients I might want to keep on hand. Rachel also talks a little about her story within each chapter, and to me it makes the cook book a little more personable, something I personally find enjoyable...

Gabrielle Spezia: First off, I have a lot of cookbooks and I am really picky when I go to purchase a cookbook but this one has taken the (gluten-free) cake! Rachel has put together such a comprehensive book that is beautifully designed with even better recipes. I already have this propped up in my kitchen because its so nice to look at!! I've been in need of a good refresh on my food prepping and breakfast ideas so I am thrilled that this book has (OVER) delivered in terms of usable, easy, healthy recipes. I would say this is a go to for anyone just starting out with healthy cooking or college students. It's very accessible and you only need some key staples to get started. I already have looked at every recipe in the book and there is such a variety of everything and every recipe has some sort of unique twist unlike anything I normally make! Rachel's blog is a great tool with equally amazing recipes but this book is so much easier to use. I'll never run out of ideas again!! I've already recommended this book to three people I know and this is exactly what you are missing if you are debating! I hope this is Rachel's FIRST not LAST cookbook! JUST BUY IT!
