bakerlady1: 2nd one we bought to match 1st in two garden house windows ledges.. We placed small pots with drip catchers in them to avoid problem with rusting. No dirt or water directly in the planters. One improvement would be to fashion the planter's bottom tray to stay put under the planter better than it does; we ended up using some clear mailing tape to help them to adhere. The trays are more for looks and balance than catching drip water. We taped the drip holes, so no water leaks; the shallow drip tray would not catch much water anyway. Overall, we liked the copper look, and get compliments on them. A little extra care and forethought for their treatment will make them last longer.
