Dwayne: Very easy to install. Click and play. The problem I ran into was it didn't have sound. Everything worked. The handle bar controls work. Display works. Just didn't have sound. Once we hard wired the speakers bypassing the amp it works great. Not sure of the amp brand. It was on the bike when I bought it. 2011 Road Glide. Was just a challenge but very happy with this.

John Morris: I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This is a very basic unit. Radio plus Bluetooth. Seems more weatherproof than the Harley original. Was easy to fit using the plug on the existing loom. Holes lined up exactly. Not the most beautiful radio in the world, but it works & interfaces seamlessly with the handlebar controls.

Matthew A LeblancMatthew A Leblanc: Love the looks and power out of this radio pairs well with hogtunes speakers had a hiccup with install when I pulled my fairing off and found 2 sets of plug wires in my oem stereo called up the seller and they sent me a wiring guide for eliminating oem amp that's what the other plug was for so minimal wiring after hooking it up took it for a ride and full blast after 20 minutes I had a ringing in my ears but so worth it to finally hear music rolling at highway speeds well worth the purchase and thanks havoc motorcycles for the super fast and helpful assistance and delivery

Jennifer: Purchased this for my 2012 Street glide so I could get rid if my bluetooth adapter. Easy to install, took longer to get the faring off. Definitely plug and play, seamless connection every time, no issues with stock control buttons for volume, etc. Need to read thru directions to find out how to turn off the very annoying beeping when you go up or down on the volume. Radio stations also work well, sound is just as good as prior stock HD unit. The display is bright but you can dim it, the song title will display on the unit, I use Spotify on my phone mount or in my vest, or a Ipod. Ipod fits well connected inside the unit. If your looking to upgrade this is it! Just buy it.

Tim P.: This radio is fantastic. I installed this in my 2012 Road Glide with stock speakers and NO rear speakers, again just the two front standard speakers. I am not a stereo geek, I just want to hear music and I want it loud enough to hear over the bike at hiway speeds. I'm not looking to setup a show bike or be a mobile DJ. ;)

The good stuff:
Crazy easy to install. The best advice I can give anyone is a little bit of grease along the left and right sides of the rubber gasket makes the installation into the bracket so much easier. The radio has two plugs, the HD multi-pin plug and the antenna. Slide the radio in the bracket, mount with the four bolts used when you removed the old radio, plug the device in and power on. It will probably take you longer to remove the fairing (especially if you have an RG) than it will for you to install the radio. This radio has built in equalizer settings for rock, spoken word and a few others. However if you want to customize you can. The sound from the stock speakers were very good. Again, I'm not a stereo geek. The radio DOES have a clock. The option and settings for the clock are buried down in the menus...but it's there. I really like the...

Seriously?Seriously?: I just installed this deck on a 2012 Ultra Classic Electra Glide. Installation was a breeze. The most difficult step was removing the 4 mounting screws that secure the deck into the stock bracket (you'll need a very shallow 90 degree hex set). Also, make sure you have some extra zip ties because you'll have to cut a couple to get better access. As mentioned by other posts, I can confirm that once my factory deck was removed a magical clock appeared in my odometer after riding for a few miles (picture added). Stereo sounds great, but I cannot compare to the original since I also swapped the stock speakers with Hog Tunes. The new sound quality is noticeably better than the stock deck/speaker setup. Bluetooth works great and the compartment behind the face plate is huge! It fit my Samsung Note5 without a problem. All handlebar controls work fine and I really can't see any technical issues with this setup. I would highly recommend this deck if you're looking to add Bluetooth music capabilities to your touring bike.
