DianeDiane: I just received this hammock and set it up in my backyard, around a stucco pillar and a wooden arbor. The straps held just fine. I really like the way the bug screen sits up high, away from your body. It was easy to enter and very easy to use the zipper with the pull inside. I have not turned it over to use without the net, but happy to see that that's possible. It repacked easily in the storage bag, following the steps in the listing. I can't speak for it's durability yet, although it seems as good as similar hammocks. For the great price on Prime day I'm pleased with this purchase.
