SAMAS: I purchased this as a DIY’er for home projects. I needed to replace something on my roof, which is extremely steep and almost 3 stories high at its apex. I have experience over the past 20 years wearing this type of fall protection gear periodically, so donning this equipment was easy and comfortable for me. Although I didn’t test it by jumping off the roof, it felt sturdy and safe as I used it moving around on the roof. It appears to be well made and of good material. Everything appeared as it should. I feel confident that if I were to take a fall, this item would do its intended job. Even tho I have used these types of items over the years, I am by no means an expert. But I am satisfied. For me, it works well.

RJD00ISRJD00IS: Regardless of my comments below, I am satisfied with this product and have added extras to resolve my issues. I am 5' 8" tall and about 210 lbs so this does fit me OK. I have a belly and have to suck in my belly slightly to get the waist belt tight enough so the extra fits through the belt loop past the buckle.

This product may vary from actual photos on Amazon. After reviewing this product number on various websites, I see there are different versions of this same item number (11173). Some sites show this item with an additional 2 shoulder D-Rings as seen in the back side photo here on Amazon, and some sites show these without the additional 2 shoulder D-Rings. This listing does not state there are 2 shoulder D-Rings as shown in the Amazon photo. Without the 2 shoulder D-Rings the product labels are sewn on the front upper left above the chest strap intersection where the Shoulder D-Rings needed to be. The ones with the shoulder D-Rings have the product labels are sewn on the back upper left in the same location.

So please be aware of the difference when purchasing. Listing is correct, but photos are for a different version of same product number. No one has been...

Sara: I read all the reviews for this harness and the next size up to help pick a size. I am 6"1" and 245 pounds with a 40 inch waist. Guys similar in size said it fit great and thought the L-XL was too big for our size. I do have an extra long torso with shorter legs though (30 -32" inseam). It feels a little short in the torso and snug at the waist. I can squeeze into the last second or third hole of the waist belt without any thick clothing on. It's tight up the back and if I have to wear a thick jacket/coveralls or God forbid gain any weight the belt will be way too tight. I think I will need to send it back for the bigger one.

davidbrown: I am an steel construction worker, I wear this harness loaded with tools, welding rod, and bolts. This harness has limited space around the belt to fasten large bolt bags, on tool pouches, but I have squeezed two bolt bags on it, and an electrode holder. I like the padding on the belt, but the shoulders and especially back pad to which the D is mounted is obtrusive. It often feels like I have something stuck back there, reminds me of having your sweatshirt hood stuck under your harness. The shoulder pads are small relative to the shoulder straps, and thus will slide out of position from time to time, but mostly when taking off or putting on. This does fit large, but with the adjustments, everything felt perfect. At 5'10'' 195lbs, the belt, and D-ring are right where they should be. The leg straps don't ride up, and the chest strap does not sag down (unlike my Sala Exofit). It is easy to carry lots of weight on your harness with this, it resists twisting with uneven loads.
