CJPCJP: I bought these drumming aids due to me having a problem with my grip and my nerves to see if they would stop me dropping them/slipping out of my hands at times. I was concerned as people said they felt awkward. My hands are large and the ring fitted my second finger (Where I felt most comfortable playing with them) perfectly and within 20 minutes of practice, I didn't even know they were there. Make sure you place the unit in the correct place on the stick so you are still holding the sticks where you would do naturally.
I haven't tried spinning the sticks with them yet LOL, but I would have thought that would be easy with a bit of practice too! For the price it's worth a go, even if you are perfect and don't drop sticks!!! ;-)

Reginald Luts: Handig om je drumstokken op de juiste plaats vast te houden. Spijtig dat de ring uit harde plastiek is gemaakt.

Sabrina McCorkle: I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He has carpal tunnel in his hands so he was really having a had time hanging on to his drum sticks. These help him to keep the drum sticks in his hands when he plays at church. Great product!

ChiliChili: I normally don’t write reviews but this item is actually a game changer. I been playing drums for 20 years n I’ve always struggled holding on to my drum sticks during sets and it really affects my playing. I’ve tried putting grips on the sticks, wax, gloves until i saw this n gave it a try. The best way to use these are in the finger next to the pinky n it’ll feel like it’s not even there. No more over stress on the hand and more focus on the music

KevinKevin: Wow! What a relief. I bought these not as a beginner, but a 32 year veteran of percussion. I know have trouble with arthritis, I suppose. These little accessories let me play for 45 minutes with no pain in my hands. It has been years since I could do that! Just an idea- try placing index finger in the ring, but then instead, try putting your middle finger in the ring. I was glad to try each for a different feel. It still let me utilize full control across the fulcrum and hold a natural grip. Good price too.

Amazon Customer: Hard to install, be careful sliding this on. Use soapy water or you will break this piece. It is a gimmick and really not worth the money

George Johnson: Although I’m not into stick tricks, I was searching for assistance in holding on to the sticks. I deal with dry hands so even sticks with a textured grip was problematic. These take a bit of getting used to but they fulfill the needs. I’m using 5a sticks and they fit tight. I wish the ring was bigger so that I could put my middle finger through it, I’ve got big hands.

Simon B: Very useful for learning as you hold the stick in exactly the same way each time. With Electronic drums the material the cymbals are made of tends to pull the stick out if you accidently catch them when flailing around, with these grip aids there is no longer any need to be crawling around searching for sticks.
