Valerie M.: It is very low carb in comparison to most pastas.

RockangelRockangel: I've purchased this several times and as far as the product goes I love it. Taste and texture are good, however, you don't get much per packet so not cost effective if feeding more than 2 or 3 people. Which leads me to the 3 stars. One of the packages arrived open and more than half was just everywhere. No one can afford that kind of loss now a days. If the company is going to charge 10 dollars for one pkg, they need much better packaging.

Primazon: This review is for the GLCBC Low Carb Pasta Rice Orzo, which was surprisingly decent, given that their other pasta products were so intolerable. I could never give a 5 star review for a rice substitute (nothing will be a perfect substitute), but I was reasonably happy with this product (orzo rice), and would purchase again. I also dropped a star rating because of expense. I did have to cook it much longer than the 8-10 minutes recommended. I had to cook it 30 minutes before it lost that "chalky" texture, but it was still firm enough, not mushy. And I had to heavily season to give it some decent flavor for my dish (more than normal rice). We used it in a chicken and rice dish and we ate it, instead of throwing it out, like we did with the GLCBC fettuccine.
(Note: See my separate 1 star review for products contained in the 4 Pack Assortment Low Carb Pasta, Fettuccine, Rotini, Penne, and Elbows by GLCBC.)

Jeffrey Webb: So, I docked a star for price, but I'm not sure that's entirely fair. These products don't benefit from the kind of economy of scale bog standard pasta does, and I'm sure the ingredients are spendier. That fifth star is missing solely on economics, not on flavor or texture.
So, the product itself. I tossed this low-carb orzo into my instant pot with two cups of water and threw it on pressure cook for 2 minutes. What came out was... awesome. I've been without pasta since being diagnosed in December of 2019. My first low carb pasta experience was the rotini from this same manufacturer. A bit tougher than standard rotini- a bit more al dente, even when cooked through - but it made a hell of a pasta salad with some black olives, a nice low carb spicy italian dressing and some parm. This orzo is much the same- it's a bit more solid than a standard orzo would be, but it acts like pasta, tastes like pasta, and fills out my sauce and meatballs like pasta. It makes my social distancing, low-carbing, REALLY missing italian food self so happy. I recommend it if you have to be low carb and need a pasta fix.

MB: I bought this for the first time and absolutely loved it. Per suggestions, I did let it cook a little more and it was perfect. I will buy again
