Stein: this greasegun worked just fine, but after the first (and so far my only) use, grease started leaking out of random seams both at the top, such as the different output options, and the bottom like where the plunger comes out. It's not the end of the world because grease is so thick, but, it is a bit annoying and messy. Still, this is acceptable to me for the price, just not 5-star perfect.

John: I read that others had issues with grease escaping other areas of gun when in use. Simply ensure all nuts are tight and you should have no issues. I was able to tighten 1 or 2 tighter. The only downfall for this gun is the coupler (but i note a few issues at bottom). I only used it once, having a hard time getting it on the zerk tight, and trying to twist the end to remove the darn thing from zerk. Do yourself a favor and purchase the SENONE Locking Grease Gun Coupler and replace the one that came with this gun. After that, it works fairly well. Only other issue I felt was when squeezing the handle, only the last 1/4 of the squeeze pushes any grease out of the gun. I had to squeeze around 15-20 times for an average ball joint. If I had a shop, I'd have Popeye arms and wouldn't be very efficient. Also had to repeatedly push the rod release at bottom to ensure grease pressure. Not sure if all guns work that way, but this one did.

Bottom line: Gun works well enough for me and my auto hobbying. : )

Zak: Easy to use, greased my zerk fittings in my Moog Endlinks.

For those of you having troubles with disconnecting from zerk fittings, unscrew the attachment point to loosen the prongs grip on the zerk fitting and you will be able to remove it.

BDW: Hey, this is a home shop grease gun so, unless you use nitrile or latex gloves, your hands will get greasy. It replaced one that failed after 20+ years.

Frizzy: I bought this as a hobbyist, not a professional mechanic. I needed to grease up some suspension components and this did exactly what I needed it to do.

The fitting end of the gun is a pretty snug fit. That is both good and bad. Good because it won't just pop off of the fitting when you are pumping grease in, but bad because it can be quite difficult to get off. If you have this attached to a fitting in a tight spot, chances are it is going to take excessive force to remove it. I ended up smacking my hand into the car chassis pretty good trying to yank the end off of a fitting like that.

The other thing I've noticed is that the gun will leak a little bit of grease if left out in the heat. In my case it wasn't leaking out of the tube or seal, but rather out of the bleeder valve and bulk filler valve. Mind you, I did pull back on the plunger and locked it out so there wasn't any pressure prior to storing it, but it leaked anyway.

Overall, it is hard to argue with the value you are getting for the price. All metal construction, a straight metal coupler and a flexible tube coupler, easy to load and use, can't get much better than that!

Michael: Solid grease gun, comfortable grip. Not all the fittings were tightened up but once done can put good pressure through the pistol grip.
