mr.illicit: I have tried a few different balms of this scent and this one so far is one of the better ones. However, when I went to work one morning my co worker said that somebody smells good… like coconut. Well, that’s not what I was looking so smell like. Doesn’t seem to smell that way but if others are picking the smell up that way that’s not a very good thing since I’m not going for a coconut smell. Also, I wish there’s was more of a wax to control the hairs more. Since it’s more buttery and greasy it does a great job softening and conditioning instead.

RichRich: ...and this balm was a win!

Growing out my beard for the 2nd time and learned that they make special products to keep those things healthy and looking good! So it was between the Striking Viking and this one which is a few bucks more but Grave Before Shave is a little more diverse with their scents and that's the reason I went with them first.
I did a lot of research before getting it so I knew what exactly I needed (choosing the balm over the butter).

I have a 1 inch beard as of writing this review so I don't think it's a must but I think it'll serve me well in the long run.
I don't really remember what cigars smell like but this smells like a vanilla soft-serve/donut/cookie/dessert and a Yankee Candle kind of smell (so definitely don't put this on if you're hungry) and it hydrates your beard and skin just like oil does just without the greasiness. The smell also doesn't last all day but you can still feel and smell it if you finger-comb your beard a little bit.

I know they say you can use it for styling and shaping but honestly, I don't see how much styling and shaping you can do if your beard is on the short side but for longer ones, I can see it...

Johan: Pas un mauvais produit, mais - pour moi - parfum un peu trop présent, qui manque un peu de subtilité, et texture un peu trop « huileuse », pas assez « pâteuse ». Du coup bien hydratante mais pas assez de tenue.

Verny: Super odeur a mon goût, j’adore l’aspect on peux vraiment en mettre très très légèrement ça suffit pour tenir une toute la journée. Ça coute un peu mais ça dure vraiment longtemps.

Baxter: Je connais Grave Before Shave depuis 2017, c'est une véritable marque de référence dans le domaine barbe. À un certain temps il était facile de trouver toute le gamme ainsi quand gros format, mais depuis 2020 la marque est désormais retiré du marché Européen pour des raisons d'exportation et des normes cosmétiques différentes que l'Europe impose.
Du coup c'est cool de pouvoir toute même
retrouver cette marque régulièrement sur Amazon.

L'odeur de cette version je l'ai connu sous format huile ou la cannelle et vanille étaient un poils plus fort, le baume reprend ainsi cette odeur mais plus discrette tout en dégageant cet arôme doux et sucré. Quand au produit sur la barbe il n'est pas gras, s'assimile bien à la barbe rapidement après application et brossage puis rend la barbe agréable.

En espérant voir d'autre gamme sur Amazon comme la référence Aphrodisiaque, Citronnelle ou encore OG

Patrick M Quigley: I like the product and I will likely buy again from the company. This product has a good feel to it, but the scent is pretty much all vanilla and no tabacco. Not a bad scent, maybe like mini-donuts or something. I would like to see them lighten the vanilla and maybe step up the other components. Other than that very minor issue, this product is great.
