Kristen W: We had the previous version of the Graco SnugRide for my first two and liked it well enough to stick with the brand for my third (old seat expired). I am so glad we did! The new no re-thread harness adjustment is awesome, so simple and intuitive to use! I love the new base that has seat belt lockoff - I'm pretty sure that's the only reason we can fit 3 across in the backseat of my Prius V (it's not wide...). Plus, it's still compatible with the old bases (and anything else you might have that isn't expired, like a stroller), so fits great in Grandma's van. Other bonuses: fold down extra shade for more coverage or less depending on your needs.

Brannon: This carseat is definitely worth the money! We really love the detail to support. It has plenty of padding for a newborn and includes the shoulder traps. We really appreciate the ease of use with the lower anchors that click in the seat with ease. And the sun visor is excellent. It has the mesh zipper for added length but also air flow and it will definitely be handy for little one on rainy/colder days getting in and out of car. The visor does get a little in the way with the handle as stated by a few others, BUT doable for the price. Wish we had this with our other two children because it's such great quality to safety and comfort.

em: I’m a CPST and bought this seat for a close friend. It’s very user friendly and has high limits for extended use. The snuglock base locks in easily for those who use the seat belt to install or can easily be installed baseless. It’s definitely a bit heavier than some other seats on the market, but not so much that it’s a negative. You can always leave the seat in the vehicle (like you would a convertible) and just carry or wear baby. It has a no rethread harness and fits most babies well. No complaints and one of the easier rear facing only seats I’ve worked with.

Raymond G Merrill: I’m a first time dad and I did a ton of research. I decided on this one and haven’t been let down and it’s been 3 months. It’s got a lot of extra cushion that the others don’t have for infants. It secures the baby more and makes me feel a lot better about how secure she is inside it. The smaller cushion is removable so when she had a blow out I removed it and threw it in the washer. I was skeptical that it would come clean because it’s white and what got on it was green and brown but some how it came clean without retreat. It’s got a larger then normal shade cover on it which is a god send for walking a newborn around in the sun because it’s also got a zipper that opens up for a vent so air flows through. The base is easy to level and seems to secure a lot tighter then a different car seat we used for acouple days before buying this one.
A real highlight is that in the instructions it tells you it can be safely secured without the base if you follow the directions. Incase someone else has to pick the kid up in an emergency and doesn’t have a base. Although I did buy a second base so my wife and I both have the same base in our cars.
