There is not much you can say about brown rice. It tastes like the white rice I buy, although it requires slightly more water per cup to cook correctly. Besides any health benefits, I certainly feel less guilty eating this rice than the white one! Otherwise, it can substitute almost any dish that uses white rice and might even add some color.
