Anastasia: It actually has issues with staying put on walls: edges started detaching from our walls 1 hour after application. But what I did is secured all edges with a simple scotch tape for gift wrapping. Such trim looks nice and helps it to stay on the wall.
Also, due to our walls being porous, some air bubbles appear from time to time. But it's not a big deal - I just flatten them with a simple piece of carton, and that's it.

Ems RichardsonEms Richardson: Terrible adhesive and poor quality control.
On Adhesive: I purchased three rolls. The walls were clean: freshly painted about 2~ months prior with high-quality zero VOC paint. Rolls were unrolled and 'laid flat' for several days before applying to 'relax' and flatten the roll. Applied with two other people, worked center-out; no air pockets. Ample force applied to ensure adhesive was sticking well. Space is corporate office: temperature and humidity controlled. After the long weekend (within two days of applying) the whiteboards had fallen, crinkled, and become stuck to itself - essentially ruined. Very frustrating.
On quality control: of the three rolls, one was ~1" shorter than the other two...!?
The 'return window' has passed apparently - this was money pissed away. I would strongly recommend to avoid this product unless you plan on also tacking/screwing/gluing this to the wall.

Thomas: Much better than buying a really expensive whiteboard, bought some of this and stuck it to a large piece of cardboard. Nice and sticky might be difficult to stick to some surfaces but would be perfect for any flat surface or drywall.

tim: This stuff is great. I don't usually write reviews but am writing this because there are many negative reviews on this item for reasons which are fixable. first off know what you are getting into. This is a very large piece of sticky paper. Let that sink in for a moment. Imagine trying to apply a giant sticker to anything and you can see why so many people had issues with this product. I put this on a desk and it works fantastic. But. It took me a good three hours to get it perfect. You need to make sure that the area which is to be applied to is ABSOLUTELY clean. even a small grain of dust will produce a bump in the surface. Second, go on youtube and watch some videos on how to apply window tint because that is how you are going to want to apply this thing. If you try to apply it to a dry surface you will end up putting tension in the material in various places and it is when this tension tries to relieve itself that the material starts to peel and bubble. After you have applied it with a squigee you need to go over it slowly with an iron to remove any excess moisture. Use LOW heat and don't sit in one place for too long. If you try to dry it quickly it will create steam wherever...

Gina: I spent a lot of time trying to find a whiteboard to help me study for my upcoming qualifying exam, and realized that all the big, framed white boards cost a fortune. I ordered this one instead and I am incredibly happy with it!
I pulled it out of the box and it was in good condition. I unrolled it and let it sit out for 5 minutes (I didn't want to wait for it to flatten out because I was too excited to try it out). I folded it in half lengthwise and cut along the crease so that I would have two equal 2' x 5' pieces. I put the bottom one on first by sticking about two inches of one 2' edge to the wall. With the back cover still attached, I then rolled it out across the rest of the wall space and taped the other end in place. This makes sure that you stuck it on in such a way that it will roll on in parallel with the floor. I then slowly peeled the back cover off little by little and smoothed it out. I did this entirely by myself and it worked out perfectly - I didn't have any bubbles and its completely straight. After I finished with the bottom piece, I did the same thing with the top piece and allowed a half inch overlap. It took me about 30 minutes to do, which I think is...

Chloe R: I'm a nearly-broke college student who wanted a huge whiteboard on my bedroom wall to organize projects, thoughts, to-do lists, etc. Now I have one. I'm really pleased so far, but then again it's only been up for half an hour.
The roll did arrive with wrinkles, but they can be minimized with a little bit of effort. The wall I plastered this thing on is painted drywall with plenty of imperfections, and wasn't prepared in any special way for the whiteboard. I did follow another reviewer's advice and unrolled the product flat on the floor for a couple of days before installing. I cut the roll into two 4'6" lengths, and overlapped the top one over the bottom one by about 3/4", just in case the bottom would've peeled off the dry-erase surface.
Edit 2013/DEC/04: I've had this thing up on my wall for about 8 months now. It's held up pretty well – it still cleans easily (and completely white). The corners did loosen from the wall pretty early on, but not by a lot, and is easily fixable with a bit of tape. As the seasons change, your wall might warp, and you may have to push out some new air bubbles/wrinkles. I'd still recommend this product to anybody who wants a large...

JonathanL: I couldn't find much information about installation before I bought this, so hopefully this will help you:
I purchased this to cover a wall in my son's bedroom so he could draw on the wall. It's drywall with a little bit of texture. My first mistake was to try and install the sheets with no prep to the wall. It lasted about a day before it started to peel at the edges and bubble.
I decided I would start over and try to sand the wall down and prime it to have a fresh surface. Unfortunately, when I removed the dry erase sheets some of the old paint stuck to the back :(
I did a little bit of sanding (I hate sanding, so the wall still has some texture), primed the wall, then re-applied the sheets. This lasted a little longer, but the sheets would still bubble and were peeling away where the old paint had stuck to the back of them. Time for plan "C"...
I went to home depot and purchased a couple tubs of wall paper paste. It was tucked back on a bottom shelf in the paint department where you would find wall papare removing chemicals. It ended up I only needed one tub (the wall is 10 ft wide by 8ft tall) to reapply all four sheets. The tricky part was the...

Amazon Customer: Previously used this to cover an old blackboard and after 4 years of daily classroom use it needed replacing…which in my opinion is excellent value for the price. It can be tricky to apply by yourself without creasing so take your time and find someone to help peel the backing as you apply to a large surface.
